Namik Interview - One big query

Okay people I watched this interview today only and before I gush about how insanely I love this man I have a VERY BIG query. Towards the end of the interview Namik said..."I really wanted this show to continue we had just 2-3 months left" 😲 I mean did I hear it right? This means Sony had decided to pull the plug on EDKV but definitely it had an extension of 3 months. Thats why probably before this news got out Namik had put a stop to rumours saying they were not ending it now.

Hmm Sony sucks. And ya I love Namik too . He is such a sweetheart

Nikita came back the next day after the news of show shut down came in and she said she wasnt that unwell to shut the show itself and she was ready to shoot.. Then she said the problem is much bigger.than fans think.. So i guess sony was waiting for a reason to shut the show for a.long time and they did it when nikita got hospitalized... She was back to shot and fans tried their level.best but sony didnt change their decision

Certainly she could have managed and even if she couldn't due to her health, as a corporate organization it was Sony's duty to give her that much benefit that she can take a week of rest after discharge and get healed. Its just that everything happened at a very wrong point of time and Sony took a very heartless decision. This is not the way professional organizations function especially when human grounds are involved. But may be everything is legit in showbiz industry.

Danish guy is so stupid... He said they want to add few more shows, so if they want to add new shows from 7pm then why they ended a show at 10pm which is a prime time slot... Lol he said krpkab trp may increase due to behad... After doing so much to promote the show (more than any serial in any channel) still it is struggling to get high trp.. Then where came this logic that due to a show which no one knows whether it will be a hit or miss other show's trp will increase considering the trp of krpkab show never improved despite so much promotion...

This end happened right after the Arabic rights were signed.

God not knowing a valid reason is eating me up 😕 can someone pls give me EDKV back .. Our Shraman n Nimik 😭 even tho I'm watching the Arabic version or you tube videos .. Nothing is helping

It seems Sony gave extention..cvs managed Nikita 's absence very nicely..it's not unusual for daily soaps to continue few weeks without ml/fl...and replacement is common scenario...as per my opinion here story is different..we never know the actual reasons...but for me if smoke is there must be fire..I m waiting for Namik's next...channels know that viewers will come back Bcoz they r volatile..

I think it's wrong to just blame channel for the decision when in truth as Namik revealed that show got extension but may be Sony thought that when this Bindu PH cannot even manage B Nikita's absence for a few days or weeks than how will they manage showing content ? Remember, EDKV showed so.many filler episodes of that long marriage and when it was about leads marriage, Nikita unfortunately was unwell and so it's Production's responsibility to manage her absence anyhow. They failed at various things. Namik too had fight with director. Actors are different off screen.

Moreover I think there are some reasons which we do not know...hence Sony pulled the plug and I think it was for good. Production should have shown this a month ago...or weeks ago. But they wasted timeand tracks.

Anyway...I know Sony is mismanaged with shows but it's the only channel which gives huge platform to new faces and people with path breaking shows.
