I think it's wrong to just blame channel for the decision when in truth as Namik revealed that show got extension but may be Sony thought that when this Bindu PH cannot even manage B Nikita's absence for a few days or weeks than how will they manage showing content ? Remember, EDKV showed so.many filler episodes of that long marriage and when it was about leads marriage, Nikita unfortunately was unwell and so it's Production's responsibility to manage her absence anyhow. They failed at various things. Namik too had fight with director. Actors are different off screen.

Moreover I think there are some reasons which we do not know...hence Sony pulled the plug and I think it was for good. Production should have shown this a month ago...or weeks ago. But they wasted timeand tracks.

Anyway...I know Sony is mismanaged with shows but it's the only channel which gives huge platform to new faces and people with path breaking shows.

Dev I agree that only channel must not be blamed but I sincerly feel Namik is the last person who should be dragged in this mess. He had a fight with director,. no, he n the director had a fall out n d director chose to ditch his team n show at last moment. Thats not Namiks fault...Namik hasnt spoken bad of Aijaz even once,...he even refused to give any explainations later as he didnt want this unimportant thing to snatch the limelight from the show. So Id say lets jst keep Namik outta it for him, this show mattered much more than most f d ppl.

Nikita is a scape goat or the easy way out, sony was done with the show long time back

Anyone who knows the truth will only thank sony for shutting the show.
75% of the blame should go to PH but they successfully hid behind nikita's illness saved their @$$.

there should be a day that all dirty politics comes out so that fans who misunderstood the whole situation will know the exact story
but i doubt

Ph ,cvs and channel together are responsible for the show shutting down. Nikita unfortunately became an excuse and everyone blaming her. Everyone keeping their mouth shut cos no one wants to be in their bad books. They might have to work with the ph and channel in future.

This is gold. I wish that the truth comes out so fans will know how well they(PH, cv's and channel) not letting their dark secret out made Nikita looked the villain in the entire situation. Where only mistake of her was falling sick that too what was not in her control.

It is just unfortunate and no ones fault. But yes if SONY things Crime Petrol gets them more popularity then we have nothing to say .. .
They stable revenue is KBK, Indian Idol, Mythology, CID, CP, and few shows ... So they give no importance .. if they start chopping down finite series also to satisfy their ego they will always struggle for TRP.

EDKV was originally planned as a finite series lasting around nine months. It is very unfortunate that Sony decided to axe it within seven months, for reasons not even slightly valid. RIP!

Mallika and LikeDmg: (is it Dill Mil gye?😳 I too loved that show ) I understand.

I'm not blaming Namik. But his fight with Director left a doubt. Aizaz and Namik had verbal fight which resulted in as Aizaz leaving the show gracefully for his self respect. (This is we know from tweets) Namik chose to stay mum and did not even tried to clarify. ( This too we knew from tweets, media etc) And I don't agree with the ditching part you said. It could have solved then and there but creatives did not seem to interfere. Even if Aizaz was leaving, Namik knew the reason and he could have solved it there or asked him to not go. Keeping mum on the issue leaves no good impression.

But off screen We really Do NOT know how these people are! Or how they behave. It's not to hurt anyone but just think about it. They are not the same off screen. This is my point. We know actors/creatives by their on screen shows and social websites. Not personally. That's why I never expect anything from these people.

I again disagree. It just wasn't only Namik, but other people as well who think EDKV mattered a lot for them. Namik covered Nikita's absence and he should be appreciated for that. I really like his acting.

😊

Anyway now nothing can be done, we can only speculate things. Wish the track wasn't dragged and that way we would have seen their marriage life as well a little more.

@Dev - I totally agree that the show mattered a lot to most of the people. But somehow I cant agree on the Aijaz part. He did not leave gracefully. He turned this into a publicity stunt. Its obvious that a fight cant happen sans any of the two parties. I am sure both were at fault but Namik had initially said that it was an argument that happened in heat of the moment as they are of same age. It was only after Aijaz made so much noise about it that Namik refused to get dragged in this mud slinging. He could have easily denied his involvement well coz none from audience has any proof. PH obviously is not interfering. But Namik chose to play no blame games. He neither defended himself nor bad mouthed Aijaz. But u n me r smart enuf to understand that aise hi to Namik wud not say something so nasty to Aijaz that he chose to leave. There must hv been some provocation or stimulus. Who was at more fault we cant say...but the creative team n producer/writer Dilip Jha seem vry happy from Namik.
Also the fight took place after the news of end came out so i doubt the two can b corelated.
