Stars do not owe us anything?

Some fans act like celebs owe them things because they are a die hard fan. I am not pointing to anyone because many fans of any person or fandom do this. But why? Any reason you think?

Then again..we help make them stars also so...?

no stars dnt owe us anything n nor do we..
the first project they do n that which earns
them fans is only as they have been successful
in entertaining us convincing us of their talent..
no one becomes a fan of non talented ppl..
we seek entertainment they provide that as long
as the exchange does nt disappoint it continues..
n frankly we dnt owe them anything either..
their plastic face is as good as a mannequin..
when its charm is over just replace it with a new mannequin
find the next entertainment..as simple as that..

Actors don't owe anything. They work on their craft and that's it.

Stars do owe their fans. They are popular for a reason and that's why a film with a star will most likely open well or a product with a star as an ambassador sell well.

That's also why some stars will never say, do something or essay some roles as not to shock and alienate their fans.

They do, we pay for their movie, keep enough hype about them in the media, so that they can get brand endorsements. They do owe us!

No they don't owe us and we don't owe them. People are idiots if they think some stars are perfect and no one can bash them and stuff cos they are so flawless! They are actors, they are human beings like all of us. That is all. You won't expect too much from a stranger in your life, right? Celebs are all strangers to us..they don't know about our existence

In my understanding we all owe it the society and world we live in..The stars too..not the fans or the followers but to the society in general...They have some responsibility like we all have

No they don't. I love RK and am his fan by my own choice. He don't owe me nothing. He should be free to choose whatever films he wants without coming under the pressure of what his fans want from him. If a fan cannot give his favourite that freedom, I don't think she or he is even a fan. I would call her or him a mere admirer not a fan.
