Parth Samthaan tops the list of the most controversial TV stars. Do we need to mention why?
The actor first came into the news for his offscreen rapport with his Kaisi Yeh Yaariyaan co-star Niti Taylor. They did not get along during the shoot. Later, he was mired in another controversy involving the &TV programming head Vikas Gupta. The actor accused him of molestation and non-payment of dues. The case did not go anywhere and is shut.
But what has caught everyone's attention is the latest controversy involving Parth. This time around, the news is about Parth being involved with model Gauri Arora (earlier Gaurav Arora), who recently underwent a transformation.
In an exclusive interview with a leading daily, when asked about his opinion on love, Gauri stated that she was not over her past relationship and has developed trust issues. She also mentioned that he was physically involved with a popular TV actor, who made Gauri feel like a woman (before her sex change, when she was Gaurav Arora). But when Gauri learnt about this actor cheating on her with another man, she was left heartbroken. Gauri also went on to reveal how the actor comes to her gym and the fact that he has started distancing himself from her after her transformation.
After a little prodding, Gauri revealed hints to the leading daily, all of which directly point fingers at Parth. Clues like the guy-in-question was a popular actor of a big MTV show, in which he played a rock star. It was also mentioned that he left the show for a film and him being involved in a controversy with his producer boyfriend.
This shocked us! And in an attempt to get both sides of the story, we buzzed Parth for his take on the whole incident. And Parth opened up on this to India forums for the first time, "I don't know why my name is being dragged in this. I don't know who Gaurav is and have never met him before. He comes to the same gym. I also remember one of my friends in the gym speaking about his transformation and I even applauded him for having the guts to undergo such a transformation and that too, under the full public glare. It is said that we met in Goa during Splitsvilla's shoot, however, the fact is that I have never been on the Splitsvilla shoot in Goa. It's all a lie."
It was also reported that Parth was in Goa to meet his rumored boyfriend. To confirm this piece, we called up Gauri's co-contestants.
One such contestant, Amaad Mintoo has a different story to tell us all together. He says, "Parth was in Goa during the shoot of Splitsvilla. He came to spend time with Vikas. He was friendly with Gaurav and I don't want to talk more about it. Please don't drag me into the situation."
We also spoke to Prince Narula, who told us ,"I do not wish to be embroiled in this controversy. Gauri is going through a really difficult time. I cannot comment on her relationship with Parth because I haven't seen what has taken place behind closed doors, but Parth was at Splitsvilla's shoot and was friendly with Gaurav. If he is saying he was not in Goa then he is not speaking the truth. He was in Goa for a couple of nights and was staying in the shoot premises with the producer of our show."
Well, the whole issue seems to be getting more and more complicated by the day. While Parth claims he has never met Gaurav and has never been to Goa during the shoot of the show, other contestants have a different version.
We did some more research apart from the contestants who contradicted Parth's quote. The following picture was uploaded where Parth and Vikas are seen having a great time and it states they were both in Goa during Splitsvilla's shoot.
