Amitabh may not be greedy, but insecure. If he does not get recognition, he feels people consider him worthless. He cannot ignore a simple thing, when a person forgets to invite him for a private party.

don't knw abt BA,have not seen them for quite a long time...it's not necessary for any artists to stop competing with other artists as they r old(saying this in general)...in Oscars older artists have won or r nominated...if they have given better performance then they should win it (saying this in general though I don't believe in BA 😆)

have seen in IF some of them say that Khans should retire despite doing well in their career so that they can let the young stars take over...but y?was stardom handed over to them on a platter...

Let the young stars earn it (stardom or awards) rather than handing over to them...

He is greedy for awards and money. He has a gaint delicate male ego which gets deflated easily and can be pumped by praises, award and money.

Problem (in India) is, if a senior artist is nominated but not given award, that implies disrespect towards him 🤪. So he has to get it by default. At most, others can share it with him. His performance is not devalued, if he does not get an award. Lata's Satyam Shivam Sundaram will always remain as classic, even though she was not awarded.

I don't expect Khans to retire. But they would look better when the take up the roles which suits their age/face. Off late, their choice is also in the same direction.
