Uttar kand is copy of Sri Ram Rajyam movie starring Balkrishna and Nayanthara. Didn't the writer come up with new story or just stick to Valmiki version. This is sad. Now I already know how Sita is gonna die.

Yes , SKR's version of Uttar Kand Seemed to be inspired by that telegu version

As @Swati Priya said Srirama rajyam is based on the Uttarakhand.and Shows the story of luv and Kush . Actually this movie is a remake of very old movie named "lavakusha" starring NTR..
But there is no kidnapping of kids and ram comes to rescue. The kids meet ram in the palace while singing songs and learns about Sita exile.

Sri Rama Rajyam was a remake of the telugu movie Lava Kusa which came in the 60s. Storyline of both is exactly the same, and so far SKR has followed the script of that movie 85%. They are highly inspired by it, it's quite blatantly obvious.

While the first half of those movies was inspired by Valmiki Ramayan, the last half isn't. The last half followed some regional versions, some of it made-up (like Luv Kush's antagonism towards Ram).

That's not the reason I do not like those movies though. Actually, Valmiki Ramayan's Uttar Kand itself is interpolated and scholars say that it's not a part of the original epic, which I find believable.

I find the characters of Ram and Sita so weak in these movies, and totally out of character to the rest of the epic. They lack trust in this version. Ram keeps secrets Sita which is unwarranted and makes no sense, and Sita is constantly trying to kill herself.

Even the Bhumi pravesh makes no sense. The original reason Sita did bhumi pravesh was to regain her children's lost honor in Ayodhya, and to give them their rights so that people never point fingers at their parentage. But in these movies, Sita does bhumi pravesh for the sake of it, without no real reason. Her promise to Bhudevi lacks justification.

As interpolated as Valmiki's UK is, in that version the praja demand Sita to give yet another test in front of them, if they are to accept Luv Kush as their heirs, and thus Sita does bhumi pravesh, to shut their mouths forever.

For her to do it just for the sake of doing it is senseless.

Most of all, what I dislike most about these movies is how despicably Luv Kush behave. They are so rude and disrespectful.

It makes us wonder what kind of upbringing Sita gave her children.

The upbringing that the real Sita Ma gave, would never make Luv Kush so rude and disobedient. They'd be the ideal children, raised by their ideal mother.

I am not sure of the version of this story which I saw as a child in Kannada Movie "Luv Kush" but it says it was not the wish of Sita to do Bumi pravesh but it was Budevi who felt sorry for her daughter's plight on repeated insult will and was not sure if she will be respected even after returning to Ayodhya, will open up herself and take her daughter in to her embrace. This happens after the war between Luv Kush and Ram after they tie the Ashwamedha horse. Initially it will be Lakshman who came to defeat them but get defeated and this will infuriate Ram and he comes to war but on seeing the kids he says "he doesn't feel like waging war on them as he feels attracted to them and also feels sorry for them, so it would be better they release the horse and accept their defeat for which Luv answers back saying "We are not here to ask your concern and it would be better if you concentrate on war. The braveness will fall in love with the kids but their audacity will make him fire arrows at them and that is when Sita & hanuman enters the battle field and announce that the kids are none other than his children and he was yet again skeptical but was ready to accept his kids and ask her to accompany them. And Sita was ready to go with them but at that time, Budevi make she move and take her back with her.
