I am seeing so much hatred, political wars and I am here beyond scared for both countries as I have family members from both sides. What can you do? I'm just totally lost.

forget the negative... it is easy to be on the internet to be anonymous and to say things, but in reality most people aren't so bad... i really do believe this..

You see your family members as family , not as Indian or Pak!!
So stay positive . You may have better picture from both side. Spread positivity on both side. Impulsive hatered for anyone will not take you anywhere .
Don't say any harsh thing that may scar your relationship Coz wounds of words don't heal easily !!

It does seem the best way, but it's just so sad how two countries are at each other over something so traumatic and scary. And it blows my mind how we are using Bollywood as some sort of "solution" thing to solve this. My only request is that the leaders of the countries man up and do something even if the "ban" is the best way to go rather than using their energy to point fingers at Bollywood celebrities. I wish they would use their energy and put to use in creating actions to protect its citizens of the countries.

Same here, but you can't help question if what you see on the internet really do reflect reality. It's why I created this thread in the first place.

I agree but internet is usually action-reaction... a lot of things are reaction to what someone said. in person humanity does prevail..
