If you are abroad then both country people are desis and if you are in any of the two countries, then , culture survives, family is family. This shall pass too. But log off from internet , if it gets you.

It does seem the best way, but it's just so sad how two countries are at each other over something so traumatic and scary. I was so sad before and felt extremely disheartened by the hatred from few people and now i know they are right on their point i on my!

Hippo is not Indian but his family came from there and still some extended family in certain state of India.

I even have both my dad is a Pakistani and my mother's family is from India. Even though they are Singaporeans

Both countries have genuine people who don't want war,but it's the media and politics who create hatred in the minds of people living in both countries.

So stay calm and be positive.
