Channa Meriya is BRILLIANT!

My all time favourite RK song is 'Kabira' so I was a bit wary when he claimed that 'Channa Meriya' is the best song of his career but God what a tune it actually is!!

I happened to read some comments calling RK retarded in the promo 😕 Guess that's the norm of the Bollywood forum - nothing escapes bashing 🤣

Even though I've grown up watching the Khans & have a great emotional attachment to SRK & Sallu more than I do to RK maybe...this guy is quite FLAWLESS!! He brings out pain and incompleteness so well, his eyes and expressions are so poignant. This song is RIVETTING! I can't imagine how beautiful this will look on the big screen. It's been in repeat all day since I heard it!

So yes Ranbir, it is one of your BEST songs! Kabira will probably be closest to my heart forever though.

Have been playing this song on a loop mode ever since...The more I hear the more I understand the depth of the lyrics and the more I fall in love with the song...I think this song is going to be the best of the ADHM album and one of the best of Ranbir's songs!

Ranbir's best songs for me are Sadda Haq, Jo Bhi Main, and Phir Se Ud Chala from Rockstar. He's had loads of great romantic hits and ADHM songs are up there with them, perhaps even better than most of them, but just personal taste...the non-romantic ones are just a notch more defining and unique.

^ Kun Faya Kun too. That song felt like as if "he saw the light". His songs & his performance in them..it feels oddly cathartic. It's that feeling i used to get years back when watching SRK during his performances.

I agree. When i saw the video of Channa mereya for the first time, i liked the song and anushka stole the show for me and i thought Ranbir was good! But Later when i viewed it for the second time after listening to the full song, i loved Ranbir in it and im totally addicted to the song!!! It has such deep, heartfelt meaning to it. Beautifully written. N I understood why ranbir was acting the way he did. I think he did a great job of displaying heartbreak. He is singing in the wedding of a girl he loves and is pretending to be happy for her. That's heartbreaking.

Listening the song continuosly,better than Kabira.
But yeah RK looked weird when he was singing that song and on top of that he put henna on his hand.

Best among the 3 songs so far..
