if this movie is a success, most credit goes to dhoni, this whole film is based on him and the craze cricket fans hav for him, even having dhoni during the promotions has helped, people wanna see his journey and success

i'm not saying sushant wont get any credit, ofcourse if he has done a gud job then he shud be praised, but in terms of the opening and weekend box office, that because of dhoni

Dhoni's name can give the biggest of openings but if SSR and film is weak then it will not sustain. And according to critics the guy has done a great job. Even Raja Sen who didn't love the film too much is praising SSR to the skies. Dhoni's fans are loving SSR's portrayal. WOM is good and if it can bring an audience twice in theatre and sustain well then yes he will also get sone credit. The film and his performance going to give a huge boost to SSR's career and future. He can also get offers from some big banners if his next also does good biz.

True that people have come to see Dhoni's story... And that is why the opening BUT the vast majority of people have been raving about SSR's performance. While some have cribbed about the length of the movie or even the fact that controversial things have been kept out, almost everyone has uninamously praised SSR's acting

ye sahi hai. jaise Neerja ke sath hua.. same repeat is movie me bhi hoga.. biopics agar famous pe banayi jaye... uska credit actor ko milta hai for efforts par jyada tak log dhoni ke liye jayenge..
