Here you will find everything you need on your journey... This is where the answers are hidden, the Truth is buried. Return whenever you have a problem.
This is the hall of annals.

I. The Kingdoms and Politics
The elven lands mentioned in Vajra has three cities.
The Vajrateerta is a monarchy, ruled by the royal family of Vajras. Vajras are the race living in this city. The royal line is passed down from father to the eldest son. If the child is young the queen would be a regent unless he is of age to rule by himself.
Among the elves there is a bond between a couple forged through their first born, it binds them for life. If one of them dies, the other also dies. So Vajra king, usually have two queens. The principal queen is the mother of the king's firstborn (The crown prince) the lady with whom, the king shears the bond. The junior queen is there to be the regent in an event where the king and queen dies leaving a immature crown prince to be coroneted as the next king.
The Kaldwaara is a democracy. Nagas are the race living in this city. There the state is ruled by a council of governors called "Mothers." It is a female oriented community. The Mothers are chosen from the eldest, wisest and the most powerful, by a secret voting system. They continue to rule for a period of a decade. If one of them is killed in the period that person is replaced by another round of voting. However no all Kaldwaara habitants have the right to vote.
The Akashanagara is home to Anjanis. It is again a monarchy. The crown is passed from the present king to the heir he chooses worthy after him. It can either be a prince or a princess. On a rear occasion it can even be someone outside the royal line.
* The "Vajra" is a sort of an emperor, bowed down to, by all the three races. It is not a title passed down by a father to a son/ daughter. It has to be earned by proving to be powerful enough. The Vajra is directly connected to the lands of elves.
II. Powers and Concepts
The Vajras are the warriors of the elven land. They have physical strength and the necessary strategic intelligence needed for war. They are extremely tolerant of tough situations and have violent tempers. Not at all peace loving. The most powerful of Vajras would be their royal family, who has a certain control over natural elements. They can influence the nature around them to aid them in the battles.
The Nagas are healers. They have control over one's body and mind. They influence the body and heal its damages, illnesses most of the time, but can do the reverse as well, by injuring someone. They also can influence one's thoughts, erase memories or change the perceptive of someone in either good or bad way. The Nagas are long living. They can be killed only with Anjani venoms, if not they will live for centuries.
The Anjanis are the conspirers of the three clans. They have mystic powers aiding in this task. They have a vast knowledge on poisons, some which can even kill Nagas, and also of weaponry. The Anjanis can control souls of both living and dead, elfish and human.
When an elf uses his/ her power, their eyes change color.
If the firstborn, who is the forger of the bond, dies, the bond between that couple is broken. So if one dies the other would not die. That is the case with queen mother Nanda of Vajras.
The high ranking elves, such as royals, governors have guardians assigned to them. The guardian protects and has a bond with his/ her ward. If the ward dies unprotected, so would the guardian because he/she has failed to fulfill their duty.
The guardian can give their life to protect their ward, that is the last resort any guardian would take if they have no other way of protecting their ward. They choose to die, instead.
The Herz is an evergreen tree, in the middle of the forest in Vajrateerta. It is believed to be the heart of the "Vajra". The tree is magical and acts as the supreme at times when a Vajra is not present. It has a connection to all the elves living in the land and stores memories and thoughts of all the "Vajra" title holders. One can communicate with the Vajra through herz.
Except for Kaldwaara all the elven lands experience changing seasons. In Kaldwaara it is always summer.
Vessels are elves or humans "possessed" by other elves. To "posses" anyone and use them as a vessel you need to learn the art of doing so (A practice which belongs to Anjanis) and it takes a minimum of half a decade to master the art. On primary levels you can possess someone you are familiar with, or share a blood relation with, and that does not require decades of practice. Mostly when an elf possess someone, the vessesl's eyes change to take the true eye color of the possessor. (You can learn to stop that)
The Lumiere is referred to a person an elf is truly in love with. Kind of like a soul mate in human world. They are often irresistibly attracted to their Lumiere. Not everyone finds that kind of a partner in life. Sometimes it takes ages to find your Lumiere and you simply never find them in some cases. But once found, known and loved, a Lumiere is never forgotten. You cannot simply move on after losing them or truly love any other. It is not a bond, that kills one when the other dies, but rather an unspoken promise of souls which leaves one empty and often dark and bitter when the Lumiere is no more. Lumiere is one's light, so losing them tends to turn them darker or lure them towards evil ways. It is better not to have found a Lumiere than to find and lose them.
Tarot Cards :
The death: Means a change is coming. It could be a change of perspective, faith, belief or the side you're taking. It promises to alter everything whether you like it or not. You see, death changes the life as it is...so that's what the card means generally.
The hermit:
Is someone looking for truth with his own might and courage, when he finds the truth he shares that with the others. So a hermit is kind of a guide, spiritual or otherwise. Someone who can lead you to the right path.
Justice: Means justice will be done to what you have done...it is as simple as that. It is a card that warns you the fruits of whatever deeds you've committed is coming your way. If you've done good you'll soon be rewarded if you've committed crimes you'll soon be punished. It is also a warning that if you know what you're doing is wrong, alter your path while you can...like right now, because Justice is coming your way!
There's a rule in tarot reading that the cards you pull out stands in order of representation of your past, present and future.
So Sanskar pulled these out in the sequence of Death, Justice, Hermit..
It means, death change of perspective came in his past, he was not against the Nagas or Swara to begin with but his belief and faith was changed.
The Justice is coming in present. He is avenging the wrong person, while the real danger runs amok, he should alter his path or he will be rewarded with a punishment.
Hermit is his future card. He will find someone who shall guide him to light in future.
About Swara's cards.
The fool is someone who is innocent, pure and courageous enough to walk off a cliff, it is a leap of faith a step towards the unknown. This was the card she pulled out first, meaning her past. She did take a leap of faith in trusting Mohan and accompanying him to Vajrateerta, that was the first step to unknown destiny.
The second is High priestess. The card advices you to trust your inner voice and gives you faith that the answer lies within you. This is her present. She is the one who can change Sanskar at the moment, that will be the answer to all the problems their dealing with at the moment. She herself is the answer in the present, only she has to listen to her heart and let it decide.
Then the Lovers. This is a card of choices, one as dida said between the alluring and the right choice both within you and among those you know. She is lured to believe the Vajra prince is the villain of her life, which he is not. She will have to decide between her own instinct and what she has been taught here. So The choice. And the high priestess sort of has already given the answer to that.
Then the ultimate question Lakshya or Sanskar is also a choice, one is right for her and the other is not. Again she has to decide. So this is her future, the card represents.
*New* The blades of Agni
The tale of Agni is an ancient folktale in the elven lands. The trio of blades, Aithne, Asani and Miza, each were the conqueror of the three elven kingdoms, Vajrateerta, Kaaldwaara and Akashanagara respectively. They used to belong to the ruler of each land, the Aithne to the Vajrateerta king, the Asani to the governor or protector of Kaldwaara and Miza to the Anjani king. All the three blades had sworn their allegiance to the Vajra, the lord of three lands. Here swords are referred to as beings with their own powers and minds. They are blood thirsty and often dark and emotionless. But according to elves they don't have thoughts. The thoughts of their yielder drive them to either the dark side or the light side. The allegiance of a sword can be won by defeating its yielder, or usurping his/her power. Aithne is the only sword known to elves that can terminally wound the Vajra. So usually the Vajra claims the sword and yields it so that no one else would manage to harm him using the Aithne. Since this was practiced over ages Aithne is known as the sword of the Vajra.
The words Aithne is an Irish name which means Fire, Asani is Sanskrit word meaning Lightning and Miza is Georgian name for the Sun.
III. Connections Between Humans and Elves
Most of the humans are oblivious to their existence. The elven cities have charms over them called "Shields" which makes them invisible to human systems. The shields also guards them against the other cities; like the shield of Kaldwaara is keeping Vajras away from attacking the city.
There are gates between the two worlds. One in each kingdom. The gates on each kingdom open to a different location on human world. They can be accessed from human world as well.
The gates are usually open to anyone, who wishes to travel through them. But they must agree to a code of secrecy before making a trip to the human world.
Most of the high ranking elves have been educated in the human world.
The Vajra's eye is a person who has the ability to see the future of someone by touching them. They can also analyze the past. The Vajra's eye is said to belong to the Vajra.
IV. Families
The Vajras
The Vajra royal family has their queen mother devi Nanda. Her son, the king has two wives.
The principal queen is Aruna, who is the mother of the crown prince Sanskar.
The junior queen is Annapurna, mother of the prince Lakshya.
Aruna is a Naga noble while Annapurna is a Vajra.
Aryamaan is Annapurna's brother.
Kavita is Sanskar's guardian, who died in a battle.
Hari is Sanskar's companion in the human world.
The king died in a battle with Anjanis in 2005 and queen Aruna also died with him. Queen Annapurna is the queen mother at present (2015) and former queen mother Nanda is imprisoned under accusations of treason.
The Nagas
The Naga governor Ashvini has two children. The older Adarsh who is practicing as a healer and the younger Uttara, who is still a junior student.
Mohan is also a Naga, although he is working as an agent, spy between the other kingdoms.
The Anjanis
Anjani king had two children. Son Pratula and daughter Arya. Arya was crowned by her father and later had to flee when Pratula sized power. Arya's daughter is Swara; the rightful princess of Anjanis and also the one with the ability to predict future.
Pratula has a daughter, Suvanna, the princess of Anjanis.
Humans
The Gadodias are Shekar and Shermishtra. Shekar Gadodia was a renowned magician once upon a time. They have two daughters, Janki and Ragini. Janki died in an accident in 2009 during one of Shekar's magic shows, putting an end to his career as well. Shermishta is in a very delicate mental condition after losing her daughter. Ragini is depressed because she failed to save her sister.
V. Story Till Now
In 1992
Pratula's father the Anjani king was the Vajra of his time. Instead of passing his title to his son, he had to pass it to the king of Vajrateerta, who was more powerful at the moment. In order to form an alliance with the new Vajra, the Anjani king decided to crown his daughter Arya the queen after him and get her married to the king of Vajras. Pratula frustraited, murdered his father, captured the power. Arya escaped to the human world with the aid of Mohan who was working for her father at the time.
In 2005
Years later Pratula who is under the impression that his sister ran away with an object called the Vajra's eye (Which makes the bearer Vajra in his opinion) has sent people to find Arya and kill her. Mohan, who is now working for the Vajras, have been sent to the human realms to find a seer, who can predict the future of anyone by touching them. In Canada Mohan finds Arya who herself is revealed to be the Vajra's eye; the seer who can predict by touching someone. As she dies her power is passed on to her daughter Swara. Mohan returns to Vajrateerta with Swara, who he has promised Arya he will protect under any circumstances.
By the time they reach Vajrateerta, the Vajra is gravely injured in a battle with Pratula the Anjani king. The queen mother is planning; to coronate Sanskar the crown prince as the king and make Annapurna the regent. Swara arrives in the Vajrateerta court and is asked to make a prediction about the crown prince. She predicts he will be killed by his step brother Kunwar Lakshya.
Lakshya is banished by the order of the queen mother leaving Annapurna frustrated. She vows to extract revenge against Swara compelling Mohan to take the girl to Nagas for her protection. Meanwhile, according to the customs, the son of the present Vajra Sanskar, and the Anjani king Pratula is supposed to dual for the title, once the Vajra dies. Sanskar using Swara as a bait, makes Pratula agree to a truce that he will not fight with Sanskar.
In return of helping him to solve Pratula's problem Sanskar allows Mohan to take Swara to the Nagas. Meanwhile, Annapurna's brother is trying to instigate her against the Vajra royals. The prince Lakshya is sick and the brew the queen mother brought for him is suspected to be poison. Swara, who is asked to confirm this with her power, says it is not poison, while to further prove the point Kavita drinks it.
Next day, the party who was supposed to escort Lakshya to the human world is attacked. The attackers are trying to kill Lakshya while Kavita and Sanskar interfere. Kavita then dies, after saving Lakshya. The cause of death is poisoning and that proves the brew the queen mother brought indeed had poison in it. Swara and Mohan had already left for Nagas by then and the attackers are also proved to be controlled by Nagas, using Swara.
Annapurna, blames Sanskar for letting Swara go, when she is proved a traitor now and asks for a promise in return of all the suffering she had to endure. She asks him to promise that he will bring Swara back to her and destroy the city of Nagas who has plotted against Lakshya.
Ten years pass. (2015)
Swara is now living with Nagas and switches between their city and the human world. The Vajras and Nagas are still battling. Meanwhile Swara discovers an injured person, touching whom she gets no visions. She takes him to the Nagas for treatment. Adarsh the Naga healer recognizes this injured person and confronts his mother, the governor about the same. The governor says that person would be their weapon against the Vajras, and without him they have no chance of winning. She makes him vow that he will keep the information he knows as secret.
Sanskar is informed that the Nagas have his brother under their custody and he orders his men to make sure Annapurna doesn't get the news and plans to attack the Naga city at the same time.
Five years earlier, (2010)
Suvanna who is fighting to gain her father's love has vowed to take revenge from Sanskar for insulting her father. She has now gained a certain power and travels alone to start her battle.
Ragini, who has recently lost her twin sister in an accident happened in their father's magic show, is under the impression that she is nothing to her parents without her sister. Her father has faced bad times and they are returning to their home town Kolkata. On the way, their car is crashed and Ragini in a semi conscious state hears someone calling her name.
Swara who has been sent to human world to escape a certain dangerous night of battle between Nagas and Vajras, have arrived on the same spot and crashed in to Ragini's parents' car.
In chapter six,
Sanskar uses Lakshya as a vessel and makes contact with Swara. This scares the Naga governor Ashvini and she asks Swara to leave Kaldwaara and return to human realms taking Lakshya (who is unconscious) with her. Mohan points out even in the human realms Sanskar would now find her easily. In the end however Swara agrees to go.
In 2010,
Shermishta who is still in the trauma of her daughter Janki's death, starts believing Swara is Janki. Mohan who has entered the scene disguised as a doctor, makes Swara realize that remaining there as Janki would help Shermishta recover as well as make her safer in the human world. Ragini is irked with this new turn of events and in her mind carries out imaginery conversations with Janki. It is revealed that the one replying to her as Janki is in fcat Suvanna, who is trying to use Ragini as a vessel for her to enter the human realms.
In 2015,
Sanskar who has used Lakshya as a vessel has found out that the armies of Vajra under Aryamaan's banner are attacking a Naga Gurukul. He compels Aryamaan to stop the attack by using his authority.
From later chapters
*Medha was a queen many centuries ago. She is the wife of Agni the king of elven folklore. It is said that she had the power to see the future and her followers had created the line Sambhava. They believe emotions blind your power, and to use the supreme of your power you have to cut off your emotional links.
**Since they were originally the followers of Agni's queen, the Sambhava clan is the priestesses of the temple of Agni. They have ways of altering people's mind or soul, and are very secretive about those. The priestesses have completely destroyed their sense of self, thus breaking the emotional ties with their souls to capture the full potential of their power. They do not practice dark magic however unlike the sect Noir.
***This explains why Sanskar could use Lakshya as a vessel. Because while used, the vessel's mind is locked away, the power is worked on his body not his mind. So the rite performed on him doesn't protect Lakshya from being used as a vessel, healing charms or perhaps mortal wounds. Because they affect his body not his mind.
