A biography " Rekha: The Untold Story by author Yasser Usman recently made headlines over personal life and revelations made by veteran actress Rekha in her book. With too many revelations, the biography also quotes veteran actor Anupam Kher as having said: "She has become the national vamp. Professionally and personally ... I don't know how will I react if I come face to face with her."

A lot of people were shocked with this and soon veteran actor Anupam Kher had taken to twitter and strongly denied making disparaging comments about veteran actor Rekha after her husband, Mukesh Aggarwal, committed suicide in 1990.

He had tweeted, "Apparently in a book about Rekha ji, some lines r attributed to me. It is all RUBBISH & NOT my language. I have the Greatest regard for her."

In an exclusive interview with BOC, we asked Anupam Kher if he personally talked to Rekha over what is written about him in her biography. Anupam Kher was quick with his reaction saying, "It's rubbish, why should I talk to her about it when it's not true. If tomorrow I write a book and I say that this is what you spoke to me which you did not even speak, it's such."

Well, reportedly, the quote attributes Kher's vamp' comment in the book to an interview of the actor in Stardust magazine (issue Nov, 1990).
