I can't believe this day is actually here...after UMPTEEN badly executed episodes and rushed scenes, director uncle seems to be back from whatever vacation he was on and editor uncle decided to take his meds again and stop screwing up the scenes. 👏...ek din ke liye this is quite an achievement for BBKD given their recent track record.
The first Abhi-Meera scene...I was holding my breath for the most part finding it hard to believe that a scene was actually NOT being rushed...is this for real? Is this POSSIBLE? Toh baaki saare din kya ho raha tha?🤔...
Beautiful scene with the right level of restraint and nuance b/w Abhi-Meera, beautifully performed by the actors. Meera's expressions finally start to reflect a shift and ND got it all right...from the zoned out Meera, to the Meera feeling a pinch when Abhi tells her they will never meet again or that they aren't "best friends"...Also, such beautiful direction for the way Meera finds that feather and treasures it...Finally some semblance of an arc today...the feather is actually one of the rare "arc" like elements in their story so far that could have been capitalized on with better momentum...alas, it's only brought back when the writers wake up from whatever random comas they go into.
I loved all the bits with the feather today...however that female version of "Dil ki bhaasha"🤔...lol frankly the singer sounds kinda besuri and it's quite unfortunate that they are playing this version ON REPEAT now since Meera is in "realization mode"...I STRONGLY request them to stick to the instrumental version or the regular version of the song and spare us the voice of this lady...it's not easy on the ears. The lyrics are nice...they need to switch the singer or switch to the instrumental version.
After many days the theme music flowed with the scenes nicely...I realized that I've missed this...in the good days, this music was part of my biggest draws towards the show...over time they squandered it as usual.
The final feather scene at the airport was again beautifully shot...Meera finally remembered that first feather scene...lol and even Abhi fixing her sprained ankle...tubelight finally flickering...hallelujah...that entire bit where she remembers and then imagines Abhi on his bike again...nice touch.
Even the kheer bit was a good scene added to justify her connection to Devpur...it's almost like some break finally got released today and sab ke dimaag chalne lag gaye dhang se.
Was surprised to see Abhi tell Daadi the truth about Yograj😕😆...I thought they will drag out this big "secret"...ghantaa secret...and Daadi sheds brief upset tears and goes back to planning Abhi's shaadi...lol so much for apologies...oh well.
So sangeet actually IS happening?😕😆...Is the shaadi happening on the same night or next morning? It will take Meera a full night to get back to Devpur?😆
Is show ke functions bilkul samajh mein nahin aate.
The Babli-cousins scene was cute...Babli looked nice in different clothes for a change and cousins happy about match-making was amusing too...looks like a comedy of errors on the way...cousins on their way to uthaao Meera from the airport and Meera on her way back to Devpur😆...so giddy she looked in the precap, "Main apne ghar jaa rahi hoon"😆
ND was the star of the epi today👏👏...So far, she is selling Meera's realization quite well.
