The lyrics to the female version of "Dil Ki Bhasha" are so beautiful and describe Meera's feelings so accurately. When I first heard the voice, it was off-putting, but after a few more listens, I didn't mind it as much. Or it could have been that I just loved the way the parting scene was filmed so much and the expressions by PJ and ND were so beautiful that nothing could ruin it for me after that...lol...the male singer definitely makes more of an impact though.
The parting scene had that DDLJ-like vibe for sure, but in a different kind of way. When Raj said "main nahi aaunga", Simran instantly got it. Meera, on the other hand, needs more time to reflect...I'm just glad the realization is finally almost here, cuz I've had as much as I can probably take of the "pata nahi yeh kya ho raha hai" dialogues from Meera...lol...
