Hey!

I haven't watched the original Aashiqui yet, so thought I would get some opinions on this movie.

For those of you have watched it, did you like it? It's a cult classic right?

And what did you think of the original Aashiqui couple- Rahul Roy and Anu Agarwal? Do you think they missed out on being stars?

Anu Agarwal after her accident has put her life back together. Really commendable.

Do you think the sequel lived up to this predecessor?

Which movie wins when it comes to music?

Finally, Aashiqui 2 or Aashiqui?

Adi-Shraddha or Anu-Rahul?

I have not watched both since I find both ARK & Shraddha boring.

Aashique the older one I heard is a classic.

Didn't watch both.. but I will watch older one because of Anu, and I am sentimental about those songs, and cannot stand the songs from newer one :p

The A2 couple was perfect. The Ashiqui couple was the worst couple in history. Movie was superhit due to music.

I love the older one!! I actually find it much better than Aashiqui 2!

The soundtrack became very popular upon release, becoming the best selling Bollywood soundtrack of the year by a wide margin.With 1.50 crore copies sold, it is the best selling soundtrack album in India of all time, as well as one of the best selling albums of all time in any genre in India.

Interesting info, Niks.

I think it rode to success on its musical high. I liked all the songs.

I also commend Mahesh Bhatt for casting Anu Agarwal, 'cause she isn't the typical BW heroine. Quite nice to see someone like her.
