Watching Ishwari is like watching master class in manipulation. She uses every single weapon in her arsenal to make sure her pawns move the way she wants them to move.

She has a very innocent, won't-harm-a-fly face that is as cunning as Shakuni from Mahabharat and arsenal of tears which she yields like weapons to cut through all protests.

But she is not completely to be blamed.

Human beings are not naturally selfless. Social structure, upbringing etc. makes people control their selfish nature but it's never completely gone. Everyone thinks of themselves first.

So if you let someone take an inch and they take a mile and you let them, then as much they are at fault for taking advantage of you, you are equally to be blamed for letting them.

There is a saying in English. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

In this instance, the shame belongs to Dev and Sonakshi.

Here's the thing. If Dev truly has understood that Sona is out of reach for him and hence decided to move on, then he should tell his mother than Sona has made her decision. He respects that. It's better for him to move on so not to interfere anymore.

And if he is still hoping Sona to change her mind, then also he should tell his mother not to interfere. He will get her back and he will win her family over.

Either way, he should strongly tell his mother that whatever needs to be done about Sona, that's his responsibility, not hers.

But what he is doing? He is again giving his mother vague messages like as if only her insult is the reason, he wants her not to go to Bose family again. No. The only reason she should not go there is that its his job, not hers. He never tells the actual reason for anything ever. Instead he is ignoring his mother's crazy stalking and pretending as if he doesn't know what she is doing. But all the while hoping she convinces Bose family while he gets the prize.

I truly shouldn't expect him to grow a spine so soon but at least I expected him to learn from his previous mistakes to not let his mother come between him and Sona. But may be I placed too much faith in his intelligence.

Sona also learned absolutely nothing from the past ordeal. She is letting the mother come between her and Dev by slowly falling for her blackmail. If Dev can't even make the effort to convince your dad and she does even this little task on his behalf, she should be prepared to be treated like second class citizen for the rest of her life. You make your bed, girl, you gotta lie in it.

I mean why would Dev have any respect for her family? He doesn't have to ever face his mistakes. Did he apologise for causing them pain and insult? Sona apologised for her mistake but never him. And this guy is concerned for his mother's respect who doesn't bother giving Sona's family the same courtesy.

But is he completely at fault? No.

If a son or daughter in law doesn't respect their in laws, it's the son/daughter's fault.

Respect doesn't come free. If you don't demand respect for your own parents, why should the in laws show them any respect?

Same with wives. If the son doesn't demand his mother shows proper respect to his wife, why should she show her any respect?

If Sona gives in without Dev lifting any finger or making any effort for her family, I'd lose all respect for her, just like I have with Dev.

You can help people come out of a tangle they got caught unaware, but people who enter the trap willingly, they have to struggle there on their own.

I must say, for once Radha was right. It was indeed the feast before going for the kill.

Radharani I feel is the one who has really understood Easwari well

Totally disappointed with the trajectory of this show..what exactly are they trying to show. First they made Dev a non hero now Sona is a Non Heroine ..how can we even have positivity for what they are showing I thought the tag line was that we will be happy watching this show right now it is giving me severe hearburn! and I am trying hard not to post but great writers like you make me want to ..looks like I have Sona Complex now!

Unfortunately single women are treated as if they are eyesore of society in India.

Sona is also caving in front of the demand of having to be married. She tried moving on with Ritwik and realized she can't.

So she is again jumping in with Dev.

I don't know why she could not stay single for a while or take time to think about this decision?

You know what they say about hasty decisions? You take them fast, but regret them slow.

I have a feeling that's gonna happen to Sona.

True. I mean why intelligent people like them not once ask the most obvious question?

Well, Ishwari ji, we all heard you. But if Sona has to marry your son who has been a no show since his drunken drama on her engagement, will you be taking pheras on his behalf as well? Aur honeymoon pe bhi aap hi jayengi?

Couldn't have said it better.
If Sonakshi is herself not bothered about their respect, why would Dev be.If Dev has never given a thought to giving respect to Sonakshi, why would Ishwari?
Despite being bitten once, both fail to understand that pretty words are not always true and not every sweet word comes with a good intention. Now only they will be responsible for whats to come.

Instead of last 2 episodes dedicated to Ishwari making attempts to manipulate Bose family, it should have been Dev running around Sona and Bose family to apologize and win their trust back. Where is the go getter attitude of Dev Dixit who handled Natasha and Gujral so well and on his own. Seriously disappointed with Dev, on one hand he is crazy enuf to get drunk twice, destroy Ritwick's career plans, spoil Sona's engagement, question his goddess mother and on other hand absolutly no attempt to pacify Sona n her family, atleast show how sad u r without Sona. It seems you have already accepted defeat without trying. No lessons learnt.
From segment today it seems Dev will speak with Bijoy but he has already lost his credibility as mommy dearest has already started with her emotional blackmailing on Bose ladies.

So tomorrow Sona will discuss with Bijoy, hopefully they have a normal discussion n Sona wud nt show her desperation to get back with Dev. Instead Dev asking Sona for one more chance n Sona telling him to speak with Bijoy instead. Why the makers are hell bent on making it so easy for Dev? For once why can't Dev realize his mistakes on his own and make ammends.

I don't know if I am right or wrong. But times like this makes me feel that Dev is taking Sona for granted. The only time he doesn't take her for granted when he thinks someone else is interested in her.

When Ritwik was around he was not taking no for an answer. Wherever she went, he went. He even went after Saurabh.

Now he can't even apologize to Bose family for his mistakes.

Even if he decided to move on, even then he could say sorry for his deeds.

He apologized to Natasha's father even after he broke the engagement and he didn't even love Natasha. May be the fact that he was rich and could damage his business was a big factor.

That's just bad manners and bad upbringing.
