Well I understand that people who use AdBlockers will be upset with this decision but we are compelled to introduce this as AdBlockers are now making it difficult to maintain and hurting our growth plans.
When a significant number of site visitors block Ads how will it generate revenue. I wish we could work without ads but unfortunately we are not a VC funded company and so far has come this far by continuously bootstrapping our growth. Anyone who runs a entertainment forum site with majority of users from India will tell you that the revenues are not that much. There are a lot of work which goes behind the scenes that users might not notice but maintaining huge site like IF requires regular tweaking, work and resources.
Please note that we DO NOT serve Pop Under or Pop Over and we only work with trusted ad networks which serve safe ads.
If you are getting mature ads please send me the screenshot so that we can look into it and many times we found that its not something that it is served by our site but a malware on the users computer or network.
Regarding the site update there is a BIG one coming in October. We have build it completely from scratch and have incorporated a lot of latest trends and technologies. And we are hoping that it will take IndiaForums to the next level (read less ads).
My humble appeal to you all is that please support us by Disabling AdBlockers and you will see the changes that I am sure you all will really like it.
