Sarah Khan's triple act

Till now we have seen only male actors dressing up as females – like Yash Tonk in Karam Apna Apna. But there will be a role reversal in Bidaai.

The show, which was recently in the news for thirteen cameo appearances by various actors, will now have the lead actress Sara Khan (Sadhana) dressed like a male. Sara will be seen aping not one but three men from the same show - Puneet (the groom) played by Girish Jain for the song chal pyar karegi, Mamaji played by Alok Nath for the song hum to tere aashiq hain and Vineet played by Naveen Saini for Soni de nakhre.

Sharing her experience, Sara tells us, "It was real fun to do those scenes as I had never it done before. It was a once in a lifetime experience. We shot for an entire day and I'm very grateful to the producers of the show for this great opportunity."

How did you prepare for it? "Prior to enacting the scene, I took a minor look at how Alokji acts and even took some lessons from him as well as Vineet Bhai," says Sara.

Quizzed about the crew's reaction, she says, "Everyone from the make-up man to the cameraman and director couldn't stop laughing when they saw me in that get-up. I myself couldn't control laughing. When I came to shoot dressed up as Alokji, he saw me and kept laughing because I had put some extra padding for the Alkoji's tummy. Everybody on the sets started calling me chhota Alok Nath."

About the serial, a confident Sara says, "This show is absolutely unique and very soon it will be on top of the charts. I can promise you that."
