Was going through the list of Aditya Chopra directed movies.
He has directed 3. DDLJ, Mohabbatein and RNBDJ and all of them were big hits!
DDLJ-As we know an iconic cinema which was a blockbuster and people lapped up the young romance drama in the era of monotonous action entertainers. Credit to him for coming up with such a film at that time. Although I feel Yash C had a big hand in making it a success.
Mohabbatein- Quite an average affair. The music and few scenes between AB n SRK stood out. Other than that meh!
RNBDJ- Have nothing to say about the ridiculousness named RNBDJ. Awful. Completely rode on SRK's name.

I would rate him 5/10. A hit and miss director.

i love ddlj and mohabbatein, rnbdj had a bit of a weird concept but it was still fun to watch

i'd say adi is decent director, his movies hav that old school romantic vibe which movie goers like to watch, but i guess his films r not everyones cup of tea, some like them and some dont

Befikre is making its presence felt.

No one in the forum opened a thread on how overrated KJo!!He is so over.

ADHM will flop.

Have to see more of Befikre to decide.

This forum dynamics is like that..I would tell the distributors to go for the film that everybody hates here.

all of his films are plain boring! i never understand the hype around them!? 🥱
& ya the only film of his that i liked is RNBJ only cause of SRK-AS's acting not for the story or his direction, the story wasn't really good enough & his direction was just ok nothing good.😳

Its difficult to say that man directed only 3 movies and the only movie i really didnt like was RnBDJ but Adi is like Karan they have also really good songs in their movies.

Karan hanging out with all the youngsters to stay fresh and he comes up with ADHM so it will definetely interesting to see how Befikre will be for an director who is like a ghost no where to be seen done only three movies with huge gaps in between doesnt come across as someone who knows how the youth right now ticks. Besides Ranveer being in it just out of curiosity i would watch it how he handles it and he self said its different what he has done earlier.

Can I be that person and I say I don't like DDLJ? 😆 It was too try-hard for me.

Neither do I like RNBDJ.

Haven't watched Mohabbatein, so won't say anything about it.

I think Aditya Chopra plays with cliches and that has worked with the Indian audience in the past, but let's see how his cliches will fare with Befikre.

So, I would rate him a 5/10. Rest is mostly luck and timing.

I too believe DDLJ was ghost directed by Yash C. Then Adi is left with Mohabbatein and RNBDJ. Take out SRK and music! It leaves the 2 films with nothing. 😆

Lmao@ people taking KJo's name. I don't believe KJo is a masterclass either. He is in the league of Adi if not better.
