A Point of no Return

Today I am not posting as a RagLak fan, but as a general viewer, who tries to watch Swaragini with her family.
There is still time...things can still be salvaged in this serial...before it becomes a point of no return
Evil must have limits, specially in a prime time serial...but in this case, there are no limits. Each and every relationship has been humiliated in this serial:
A sister trying to kill her sister
An innocent girl being drugged
A husband trying to get his wife killed
A son-in-law slapping his father-in-law
A grandmother selling of her grandson and sending her grand -daughter to jail (probably the most beautiful relationship has been maligned here)
A son about to slap his father, and wishing for his death
A man trying to kill a newborn by setting the cot on fire...

I have enlisted just a few...I haven't even mentioned about the villainous tracks of KKS (Kavita...Kavya...Sahil)

It is really difficult to watch things with a 6 yr old sitting beside you, because it sends a wrong message. My son loves his grandmother a lot. It is traumatic to see a grandma behave in this way. I am literally forced to change to a cartoon channel.
So much of evil...and treachery...It is true that you are showing good things also...but one cannot deny that the evil is overshadowing it. For every 5 minutes of "goodstuff"...We get 15 minutes of evil. Trust me...This is the primary reason for the poor show.
The basic human relationships are being insulted...noble professions are being mocked of. This is disheartening and painful

In medicine, when a patient had a cardiac arrest...We go for a CPR...We carry it on...till things turn positive...but the CPR too must be given with a positive attitude...If not...It becomes a point of no return
In my opinion. ...Swaragini...has too suffered a cardiac arrest because of the negativity. ...because of the evil...There is still time...to bring in some positive factors...to respect the basic human relationships...otherwise I feel disheartened to say that it will become a point of no return.

Edit - All serials have negative characters no doubt. In fact the KKS in this serial are still okay...at least they are not related to the family. When family relations are being maligned...Some beautifully defined relationship are being spoiled in the name of negativity it really isn't sending a good message across.

Bang on priya di👏

This show is just intolerable IMO. They maligned every single relation in the show. How can a grand mother sell off her grand child that is the height. Just for the sake of trps they can go to any lenghts. RS should be sued

Agree with you totally. SR Cvs didn't spare any relation & any profession. They made fun of serious issues and treated those issues in a very insensitive manner. I used to watch Uttaran where a character called Nani did the same thing which Dadi did. I stopped watching it when they showed female lead forgave Nani even after Nani tried to harm her son.. But Nani was not related to female lead but here Dadi tried to harm her own grandchild. And nobody took legal action against that pathetic woman. It looked horrible. Adarsh and Pari are behaving like monsters. No attachment for AP-DP. Current track is illogical and depressing on so many levels. Where other serials celebrate different festivals with so much enthusiasm , in SR all are busy with family drama all the time. Not a single episode without depressing drama and rona-dhona.

Well said Priya ❤️ xxx

when ever i read your reviews and your opinions I can never disagree with them it's so well written and reviewed and makes so much sense

This show has gone on the wrong direction. So many things are wrong in this show and not handled properly. No wonder people start hating characters and tracks because of cvs

Have we realised one thing. ...Over the past few years..In family crimes have started increasing...as we read in the newspaper...watch in the news channels almost everyday. The basic reason are these daily soaps. They go overboard in showing negativity...and do not realise what effect they really having. If a 12 yr old watches this serial with his mother and finds that people are being forgiven for heinous crimes...then what impact will it have on the adolescent? The very concept will be distorted

Actually this show made fun of most of the relationships and feelings.
They made fun of mother son relationship - shekhar n dadi, which mom would seperate his son from his first love for "samaj" my mom would even fight with divine for my happiness
They made fun of daughter father relationship - shekhar swara
They made fun of grandma granddaughter relationship - dadi n swara
They made fun of "first love" - ragini lakshay n kavita became criminals to get their first love and one of them actually succeeded and finds her deeds worth it.
Sanskar was a stranger to swara when he drugged her but still he was wrong. I mean sanskar revenge plan was brutal.
Ragini as malkin insulted her in laws who were so supportive for her always.
Ragini as a daughter seperated her own parents for her first love.
Sanskar tried to snatch his brother's first love for his revenge.

So I don't think serial was ever about relationships goals. What adri is doing to ap n dp is the repeat telecast of what once ragini and kavlak did to them.
And pls don't get me started on proffesion, they made fun of our laws, our medical system our police.

So u just have to watch it as a fictional show n forget about it once u r done, I am toh not a regular viewer. I just watch it when there is potential for swasan scenes.
The only show my family watches together is the Kapil Sharma show or sometimes the news.
We also used to watch kichdi sarabhai - those were the days
