^Seems like it happens quite often between sisters. Ur story reminds me of 2 sisters I know who are/were very close. But there was jealousy and competitiveness between the two and now the younger one is married in the same family to the younger brother of her brother in law 😆.

Then it is too personal 😆

Another story...here they are twin sisters. One of them was my classmate and their sibling rivalry was legendary. But positive outcome was both were exemplary in their academics and sports just trying to outdo each other. And yes both liked the same guy too 😉.

Okay not a bad idea but I feel like you need a stronger reason behind why her life starts to crumble after her sister's wedding.

Like may be make them orphans or something. May be she was the only really close family she had left.
