Aamir in Raju Hirani’s next!!...WOW

Raju Hirani has approached Khan with certain terms for his next project

We don't know the status of Raju Hirani's pet film, Five Point Someone anymore and frankly, we are losing interest, but now there is a strong buzz coming from the Vidhu Vinod Chopra camp that Raju has had a couple of meetings with Aamir Khan for a brand new film tentatively titled Idiot.

There's a hitch

A source says, "In the past few weeks, Raju has met Aamir Khan for Idiot, a film that he is thinking of starting before the Five Point Someone adaptation."

Although Aamir has given his go-ahead, there is a hitch.



The source adds, "Aamir is more than ready but Vidhu and Raju had another meeting last week with the actor, and told the actor that Aamir would only be needed as an actor in this project and that he would have to curb his enthusiasm about the film's making and post production stages.

They made it clear that while his inputs about the script would be welcomed, once the movie rolls he should only come to the set as a performer. And it seems that the actor has obliged the producer- director duo." This is probably because of the many stories circulating about how Aamir invariably ghost-directs all the movies he works on.

In fact, Aamir even took on the director's role from Amol Gupte, the original director of Taare Zameen Par.

Says Aamir, "I have been approached by Raju Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra. I am keen of working with Raju and like his work and am being non-interfering 😆 and waiting for them to announce it as they are the makers of the film."👏

Blimey, I was just thinking the other day, how wonderful it'd be in Aamir does a film with Raju Hirani....It was ever such a pleasant surprise when I read this on Mid Day today😃...Hope it doesn't fall through
