Ishwari is not a good mother. But she is not a bad person. She is just incredibly selfish. Not even Dev's own happiness matters before her own comfort zone. She knows what she is and that's why she has to constantly pretend that Dev is happy and everything is fine. Sometimes hard times make people like that. Like someone who had to go without food may turn out to be insecure about food. Like Neha constantly needs to be surrounded by money because she knows what poverty feels like.

Unfortunately a mother does not have the luxury to only think about her comfort. She has to think about her children first. The more you bind someone, the more they will try to escape. It's human need to want freedom.

Difference between Asha and ishwari, I can sum up just in 1 sentence- 'difference between normal and abnormal mother'

No wonder Neha has never worshipped this mahaan maata because she could she the selfish face behind this mask of mahaanta. Othr side saurav, sona and elena might not be worshiping asha but they truely respect her.

No doubt no human is flawless. There is nothing wrong in being possessive, it's one of ths flaw. But instead of trying to impress possessive and selfish side, ishwari should have taken it as a challange and pushed Dev more towards sona to fight with her insecure side. But this woman cant see anything beyond herself.

I must say Natasha is one lucky girl who escaped from this abnormal love triangle of mata and beta.
