@ sharika.... woes of being a mom, uh? well, my husband and i have not allowed our son to even glance at a bottle/can of pepsi or coke, let alone taste it, cos we have seen how addictive it is!! grandparents are also strictly forbidden, but they do indulge him with lots of candy and lollipops and then we struggle to keep up with him!!!!!!!!!!!! so now i can also empathise with your attempts to keep up with sareeta! and my god she is still on it!!! god save us!!!!

Wohoooo... I seem to have instilled dread and anxiety pangs in all of you.... with my posts.. certainly not the intention but I jus am super happy with Miffy Mr Flopppyyyyyyyyyy and seething mad... at Ditzy Ridzy and well what better way to get it all out of my system!! Wohooooooooooo!!!!

@ sharika..birthday parties? hah! its hard enough with two sets of grandparents ready to spoil him to the core...am dreading the time when he starts going to to school. so far, he's the pitome of innocence. no tv, no violent cartoons, just nursery rhymes, books and stories. has never heard the word death even in mythological stories...oh but we can't protect them forever, can we???

why does it have to be soooooooo tough. totally empathise with your situation! should we also ban bday parties? or do we censor them? ask if they are serving pepsi or coke and refuse to send them if they are???
