Jeeez you're amazing. I can't really handle just how much emotion you packed into that oneshot. I never wanted it to end- probably because I knew the end would be heartwrenching. And it was! My heart feels literally like someone has reached inside and wrenched it out and then stamped all over it- probably akin to how Anika is feeling.
Would you ever maybe consider writing Shivaay's side of this? I would absolutely love to read it and I know for sure that if you're the one writing it, I'll probably actually cry. Because as much as Anika is devastated now, the way you wrote her plans for the future and her determination to get through... it speaks of hope for an even better future. Of the strength to one day look back on her love for Shivaay Singh Oberoi with just a twinge of regret because it ultimately allowed her to forge a better life for herself and Sahil...Shivaay, on the other hand, appears much more helpless. Constantly taunting Anika, the night before his wedding. The day of his wedding. All day, he's the one following her around because while Anika is open to build whatever future she wants... he's the one who is trapped in the one he resigned himself to. The one he didn't fight to change, no matter that he clearly desperately wanted to.WHY DO I ALWAYS SPEND SO MUCH TIME THINKING ABOUT THE SIDEMAN CHARACTER INSTEAD OF THE MAIN ONE?This story made me so emotional and it was beautifully written. I truly hope to see you write more.
