About Shantanu's performance

I want to talk about Shantanu's performance here.

Okay, so Shantanu is one brilliant strong dancer and thats very much visible when he is on stage performing. Yesternight he was just SOOO Light on his feet, moving around like melting butter throughtout the performance. I just so love it when he performs like this and that is, ALWAYS.

But even though his performance had few really cool tricks and WOW moments, I still found something amiss in his performance. It wasn't just what I would call 'PERFECT' or 'thats how you do it.' Probably the song didn't go that well or probably it was the chorrograhy but something was amiss.

Being someone who has followed his journey since his start and had seen him dancing for like six years now, I know that it wasn't even 50% of what he is capable of doing. Alisha didn't use him to his fullest in this performace and the expectations that viewers have from him doesn't help because Alisha would need to prove herself everytime with every performance because her partner is Shantanu and everyone knows he is freakin' talented and its her responsibility to bring out his best everytime.

Also, I generally really like what Karan has to say about the performances since always. But I was APPALLED hearing him last night and I don't think I have felt offended so much in a really long time.

Shantanu Maheshwari has problem with his finshes???? LIKE ARE YOU FOR REAL????

Thats one thing I have always admired about him. . .He does clean steps and doesn't jump from one step to another. He has the most clean transitions ad I didn't find ay problem with his finishes last night.AND DUDE NO ONE CAN DENY THIS.

I have no idea why Karan said something like that? Why KJo you don't like Shantanu? You give him tough scores and now this? -_-

A whole lot of my fellows think he deserved 27 but I guess he was scored right!( No matter how much my fan heart screams for a 27) But dude when Harpal gets a 25 and the judges don't question Salman's clear slip with cap and rigidness in the start of the dance, you do question why a 26 to Shantanu?

Anyways, the face off glimpse has me all pumped up again! He performed like that in fever? Who is gonna believe it? Go Shatanu sizzle!

Shantanu was brilliant yesterday and the choreography was pretty tough and not halwa. It was fast paced, complicated steps with the right number of wow moments. Choreography was almost pitch perfect and was tougher than Baby ko bass.

Problem was Alisha not being able to keep up with his energy level and hence co ordination went off in places.

This choreography was much higher in the difficulty level and completely utilised his potential .

Salman can lose balance and still get a 27 ? Fair ?

Surveen Sanam also din't have perfect co ordination. How come they got 28 ?

He definitely deserved a 27. KJO was too harsh on him. No not saying this as a fan. I mean it. He deserved it.

I can't comment on the level of choreo because it takes me two sittings to get his whole performance. . .coz the first time I am more like trying not to mis any of his expressions. But yes probably the song didnt fit well or I just expected something more, I felt the choreo was loose in bits and not as crisp as it should have been.

Kjo how dare he tells shan to correct his finishes. Shan's always perfect in whatever he does. Manish always goes like salman the best dancer in jhalak. Oh please shan is a WOD winner. I agree with vrushika as she said in an iv if there is no politics shantanu would definitely win and he deserves it. The channel is so biased. How come salman always gets 27 no matter how his performance is. That's totally not fair

there's no doubt on shan performance... he was brilliant for his dance moves. his every move wer smoothly done. love his act. only thing that hopefully alisha should match up with him. I don't want because of small thing shan mark letting down.

OKAY though how much I know He's a brilliant dancer but for the first time even the fangirl in me was so into his cuteness, that I was kinda blind in other aspects. Then after watching it for the second time, I find the choreography was limited for a dancer like him, it has wow factors but not only wow factors can fulfill the criterion of dancing. The song was fast in pace & there was many things to do in therms of dancing which Shantanu nailed but Alisha could not. Shantanu gave his 100% while Alisha looked lost & confused. That went wrong & pull down the performance from being PERFECT.

I think he is over rated and i feel this time chanel already decided to give top 3 shantu surveen and shakti
