I think thats because our minds are conditioned in a way that we're naturally scared of these old,creepy,unknown things,n drama makers take advantage of it,so that unka show aur b horror lge...like majority of us are afraid of hospital due to doctors fear,death n dead bodies,varies from person to person plus horror shows we used to watch js men dead people morgue se oth k ajate the..

Then jungle - forest se darkness, animals n unusual creatures ka fear..jail se b crimes ki punishment ka fear is there in our subconscious mind in a way.. And these horror drama producers, directors know this very well, isi lye they choose to shoot them in weird,creepy locations.. Jese haunted old house se b darr lgta hy, ya sshh koi hy ki old episodes yad ati hain Mjhe 😆😆

Yes there are few scary movies shot in malls too,aek Darr @ mall bi thi, though darr chor k sb tha us men 😆😆

In case they happen to shoot in my home...i would simply ask them for shooting at my parents house in village, well i have experienced ghosts there...free k artist kaam karne ko milenge😉
