What do you think will be status of BBD?

So trailer is out, buzz if doing fine due to Kala Chashma.

Now sorry for saying the obvious, movie will ve either a flop or hit.
But as I can see, this movie at worst will be average, at best Hit(depending on price at which distributor buys it, if it less than 50 cr).
Reasons being:

(i) Interesting Concept: Although BW and Sci-fi movie are as compatible as Salman and Aishwarya. Still this movie has made people talk and create theories. The urban crowd will flock to give it a try. Mass crowd may not like it, but second reason might have them going.

(ii) Katrina is back to being hot and eye candy and Sid has his female following : Well this thing will ve crucial to bring back all those tharkis who left Katrina because she was with Ranbir.
While Sid has his decent amount of female following who like his cute romantic avatar.

(iii) Music: Music as always plays a crucial role. Kala Chashma has become a chartbuster in its first week, and other songs also look interesting.

(iv) Visually beautiful movie: Not SLB type of grand visuals, but movie has gorgeous locations.

So assuming movie needs 80 crore to get the hit verdict, IMO the movie with this type of buzz can easily make 50 crores in first week, and if luck and movie clicks might cross the 80 line in its first week or atleast by second. It all depends on the execution. And I don't trust the script, direct or acting here. i hope they prove ne wrong and make a really brilliant all.

The first 3 options and the last 3 options not for sure. Uske beech main kuchh bhi hoga.

depends on the budget and the first Monday following the weekend, if word of mouth is excellent and they have kept budget low nothing will stop this movie from being a superhit.

kala chashma and trailer has ensured audience for the first 3 days.

music album is good.. i just started listening to them.. i suspect songs will grow the more people listen to them.

i have a strong feeling this movie is going to be a surprise hit of the year which no one expected back in january.

Till now, all I have heard about it is good looks, good looks and god looks.. So lets see if the good lucks are enough to take it to hit status or if it has something more to offer

Well that is the one of the main USP of the movie tbh.
Katrina and Sidharth are not exactly known for their acting rather, Sid is also called male Katrina. Beautiful and boring, talentless star. But it is their good looks and screen presence(especially Katrina) why they are so here(asides from sugar daddies in Kjo and Sallu respectively).

Also movie has offered good music Kala Chashma is already a Blockbuster song, and other songs good enough to keep the buzz.
Plus the concept/theme is intriguing and interesting. So it is not exactly just good looks.

Don't know...as the genre is a little dicey...but I hope for a CLEAN HIT atleast.

I never said anything that you are against the movie 😆.
Just that you are not paying enough attention.
Obviously this movie has chances of being a failure than a success.
