Watched DIYA BAATI DAZZ uptil the time wen it was tolerable...!But saas bahu saga was in forefront...The beginning mnths it was a beautiful show n I would credit the team writers did a brilliant.job in potraying Sandhyas adjustments,fears in her conservative obnoxious sasural n Surajs support...But then im not a sucker for such kind of melodrama wen saas becomes a loud maniac n others r in kitchen politics..It was out n out FAMILY drama..Iused to wait for Suraj Sandhya scenes...😆😆 .but it was BHABO N MEENAKSHI,the scheming Deveani...😆It is bearable till the time u HAD ENOUGH...

Yup Daz I used to watch diya aur bati hum when it had started.. I remember the show had some good tracks and I used to love the tukda tukda suraj-sandhya scenes whenever I get to see them.. The writers were really good and much sensible.. They knew how to progress with the story.. But had to quit the show becoz of the saas bahu and devrani dramas as mehr di has mentioned😆

Just praying and praying ke mishal's next show ko kuch achcha sa writers mil jaye.. May be the surrogacy themed show will have much behind it besides just a plain love story and the male lead will play an important role so mishal has signed for this show even before IKRS ends.. That surely means mish has find interest in this show's story.. And looking at the past record of this PH, I have high hopes that this show can be a huge success... Other than mishal's actings, I will like to see a proper story this time... Fingers crossed

The concept seemed interesting to me, but I never got around to watching an episode. If the writers were good on DABH, then I have a teeny bit of hope for Mishal's new show. Since DABH is family-oriented, the kitchen politics were bound to be a part of the show. I hope the show's about a single dad taking an unconventional route to fatherhood. I hope, and I mean hope, that this show isn't about a love triangle. I hope Mishal's character discovers himself as a person along the way. Mishal's given us a vast variety in the roles he's essayed up until now. For those of us that have seen all of his work, we can all vouch that each character is different, the persona is different, the mannerism is different, even the walk is different! I expect this new character to be completely different from Viplav, Dutta Bhau, Akash, Ranvir Ahuja, Nitin Kamle, and Challa. More than anything else, I hope Mishal confirms his role on this new show soon. He's already gotten all of us antsy in anticipation. 😆

I agree, Barb! We don't know too much about Sangarsh, but I'm wondering if the whole show's centered around Mishal's character. Instead of a female-oriented show, it might be a male-oriented show relevant to today's times. Having a child through surrogacy without ever being married would be a new concept on Indian television. I believe it's unexplored territory. All i want from this show is a sensible beginning, middle, and end. Mishal is more than capable of taking care of the rest. I'm still concerned about the 10:30 time slot. I think the show would do much better between 8 to 10 pm.
