Watching today's episode, I too now feel as if we're coming closer to the end of this serial. DT was finally unmasked in front of Viplav. His hurt so obvious, his trust shattered, and his confidence in his family torn to pieces. First he learned of his grandfather's deception and later came to the realization that his entire family had deceived him into a life and an honour that was nothing but a mirage. He FINALLY admitted his mistake and truly realized Dhani's worth in his life. It was as if Viplav had an epiphany in that moment. I bet he feels really crappy for dumping her the way he did. This shows me that up until this scene Viplav wanted Dhani back in his life at all cost, yet still didn't believe in her even though he claimed to know her better than anyone. For five years he mourned her loss. What was he mourning? A love he didn't have faith in nor valued? I wish I could find Viplav Tripathi and ask him for an answer.
Viplav breaking all ties with his family indicates that DT's, KT's, and TT's tracks have all come to a closure in one episode. I don't see the creatives indulging further in Shambu's murder or unveiling Kanak for her heinous involvement. I don't think there's anything left for them to show in terms of his family for shock value. He now knows that everyone was wearing a mask and they're capable of a lot more. Now that Viplav's returning to Mumbai, I doubt we'll get to see Ayodhya Nivaas or its members again. It's a shame the production house didn't use a supporting cast of this calibre to its fullest advantage.
