Whatever limited perspectives we have been provided of Nirmala, it certainly seems like she took a decision to leave Shravan with Ramanth rather than continue living a stifled life and she felt that by leaving Shravan with Ramnath she was providing him the chance to a better life financially.
What she never would have comprehended was the extent of poison Ramath succeeded (including destroying the love and respect Shravan had for his mother) and still does in feeding Shravan to addle his views of women in general.
For all her good intentions, err she did and big time. She could have stayed back and separated from Ramnath rather than abandoning her only child if she did not want to stay in a bad marriage but she could have ensured that Shravan was aware of the reasons for her actions- he was big enough to understand at that time. To that extent I would say that she failed spectacularly as a mother, since she was the primary reason for Shravan's hatred of women with the balance job being done by Ramanth.
Shravan has always been a gentle, kind and sensitive soul who hurts easily and certainly has more of his mother's traits than his father's- thank God for that. Hes no Ramnath junior for sure even though he may idolise Ramanth and Ramnath would like to think that Sharavan is his "parchayee"😲 Circumstances have made him the cynic that he is but hes a softie at heart.
Ramanth.. the less said about him the better. Even if he loves his son, what he did 10 years back and what he is doing now is reprehensible. He manipulated his wife into leaving 10 years back and he manipulated his son and continues to do so. We dont also know whether Nirmala did make any attempts to contact Shravan in the 10years which were nixed by Ramanth and that too adds up as a reason why he wants to keep her away from Shravan. Manipulative, chauvinistic and selfish is Ramnath for you..
I would like to assume that the purpose of the omnipresent and over chirpy Aditya is not only to bring Nirmala back (which the CVS could have done by way of Nanu inviting her to wedding or any other way saving us the Aditya sufferance) but to push shravan to actually confessing and show Ramnath's true colours.
I would also like to wish that given this show's past handling of tracks, along with Shravan's realisation of Ramnath's true nature comes an understanding of his mother's past actions and that Sumo is her own person with her own strengths and flaws and love is an-all encompassing acceptance of a person, flaws and all.
I also hope that they just dont show a filmy style superficial showdown between the 3 of them. There has to be a transition of Shravan's thoughts since his bitterness and hatred is deep-rooted and for that they need to show his POV post the confrontation and before the confession, which I hope they dont rush through.
Suman is an independent woman. She is no Nirmala- she stays to fight her own battles unlike Nirmala who chose to run away and does it in a rationale manner. She ofcourse has her flaws- who doesnt but then so does Shravan.
The only thing i cant understand about her is despite being the street savy girl that she is shown to be, why are the CVs showing her tolerating Aditya's silly antics and his over-familiarity.
Aditya again dont want to spend much time over him, hes there so he has to be tolerated. Whether hes the genuine nice guy or pretending to be one is not clear- the camera showing him lusting after Sumo doesnt help. So we dont know how his role in the entire confrontation saga and whether hes going to be a passive by-stander or an active instigator to Shravan.
I hope that the culmination of this track is handled in a rationale non-filmy manner and is well-paced in its execution since it is the crux of the whole story.
Phew...this has become one long post😲. apologies.
