Ranbir Leaves Katrina Stranded ; Alia comes to her Rescue

Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina's Kaif's break up came as a shocker to everyone. The couple who were planning to tie the knot, suddenly broke up and moved apart.

Though both moved on in their respective lives, or atleast have pretended to, in front of the world, but the inside story was completely different.

If reports in a leading tabloid are to be believed, Katrina had built her world around Ranbir and when he left she not only lost the love of her life but also her social life was disrupted completely. She had made Ranbir and his friends the center of her life, neglecting her own pals and when the Kapoor boy left he took away his inner circle with him, in turn leaving Kat all alone!

The report further states that Kat then made up her mind and is now determined to make new friends following which she threw a glamorous party. After which she found her closest confidante in Alia Bhatt who came to the rescue of gloomy Kat. The two girls met at Yasmin Karichawala's book launch and since then have been the bestest girl pals.

Later, when Kat started shooting for her next film with Alia's alleged boyfriend Sidharth Malhotra, the Bhatt girl would often drop in and spend time with both of them. Apart from sharing gossips and secrets, the girls also exchange their workout regimes with each other.

Who are your friends in the industry?

Oh, there are quite a few. Ayan Mukerji and Abhishek Varman, Vikas Bahl, Shahid. Then I have a special connection with Sidharth and Varun. Imtiaz is also a good friend. Among women, these days I am really bonding with Katrina, we have got friendly and we are fond of each other. We go to the same gym and it is because of Ayan that I am spending lot of time with her, so she's become part of my friend list. Actually I am friendly with lot of people, this generation is I guess more vocal and accessible to each other. For instance, Shraddha messaged me when she saw the Gulabo' song. Then, when I saw a slim and trim Pari (Parineeti Chopra) on a magazine cover, I messaged complimenting her. We are all supportive of each other and we are also not trying too hard to do that. We are doing our thing and at the same time having a good time.
