Amaal Malik completes honeymoon track for 'Baar Baar Dekho'

MUMBAI: Music composer Amaal Mallik recently completed a song called 'Sau Asmaan' from the film 'Baar Baar Dekho' directed by debutant Nitya Mehra. The song has been composed for a honeymoon sequence picturised on Katrina Kaif and Sidharth Malhotra. The actors finished shooting the song as well.

Initially, music director Amit Trivedi was signed on to work for 'Baar Baar Dekho'. Due to creative difference and time issues, he reportedly opted out of the movie. Soon after Azeem Dayani, music supervisor of Dharma Productions recommended Amaal Malik to director Nitya Mehra.

Feeling grateful, working for 'Baar Baar Dekho', Amaal says , "Being my first film with Nitya Mehra and Excel, It was great fun working with Director Nitya Mehra, a girl who is debuting herself and yet has invested so much trust in me.' Adding to that,'She made me forget about what other people were feeling or asking me to do. She gave me a free hand and asked me to come up with a song that I would like to make."

Nitya also shared her views on the song. She says, "This is my personal favorite track on the album and the entire crew went crazy shooting it. We fell in love with the song soon after Amaal and I tried out so many ideas so that it's also a big promotional number. It is my first time with Amaal and it has been a smooth ride."

Armaan Malik and Neeti Mohan have lent their voices for the track while Kumaar penned the lyrics.
