I am so glad that Zindagi introduced me Fatmagul a story that has pure romance and a strong social message. A story about a couple who stand for each other and fight all odds. As the show progresses, one will fall for FaRim (Fatmagul & Kerim). It will be a treat to see how they fall in love, how Kerim endures to win Fatmagul's love. Also how she fights till the end for justice.

The lead pair Engin & Beren are simply fab.

Agree. After watching a few epis on Zindagi I got so intrigued that I downloaded all the episodes with Eng subs and watched the entire original series in one go. It's a brilliant show which remains true to its theme till the very end. One of the rare shows which doesn't stretch unnecessarily and maintains the integrity of characters all the way till the end.

I absolutely love Beren and Engin. They both complement each other so well and breath life into these wonderful characters with every fibre of their being, making viewers feel their pain, anguish, vulnerabilities, joy etc and root for them individually as characters as well as as a couple.

This is, hands down, the BEST show on Zindagi since its inception.

Hope the channel shows more such shows from Turkey, Korea, Israel etc. Bored and sick of crappy Pak shows being shown which all seem to have same cliched crappy storylines based on multiple marriages, divorces n attraction between cousins etc. Enough with those!, already!

@Bold - Concur completely. It's a fantastic show from an all round perspective be it story, performances, screenplay, characterisations, music, dialogues. I esp love it's BG score. It's amazing.

@Red - haha totally agree with you there. Barring a few shows, most Pak shows are repetitive, recycling the same old beaten to death stuff. I am esp allergic to the multiple wives formula they commonly use. Hoping we will have Korean shows soon. Apparently, Zindagi is contemplating or even in talks reg them. Hopefully we will have them screened soon enough

I too dislike Pak shows and never could manage to even watch a single one for over 5 mins 😆

I'm loving Turkish shows with the first one being Feriha and now Fatmagul...Heard that there are many more that Zindagi can choose to air like Ask-i-memmu and Meczedir...

I have heard that Korean shows also are good. Just hope Zindagi hears us and starts airing more dramas from other countries 😳

Zindagi started two years back on a high note.

The content was very well curated, presented and accepted.

Several TV dramas from across the border got into our households and lives. Pakistan being our neighbor, never had created so much of interest to any average citizen here.

As a viewer's candid confessions, i have watched several drama re-runs and enjoy it every time.

A self re-balancing in the system is evident, with directors/PH trying out the tried and test formulae ( all mentioned above posts) which makes the shows regressive.

Looking forward for the dramas around the world, for all the neo vision on the actors & stories, and ofcourse the culture they bring in.

I am currently hooked to Fatmagul.

Incredible story, great actors supported by excellent team.

Kudos to them.
