I agree .. I think the criticism is unnecessary. I feel the show is not even 3 weeks old.. let them atleast start their story before we try and suggest how to improve it.
We don't even know properly what story the makers are trying to bring out.
Also the suggestions of screen time.. there is an ensemble cast each character has to be established and they have 20 mins per episode.. its not going to be possible to show all the characters in 20 mins.. so they are hightlighting certain characters right now.
Ishana and Somya will both get their screen time once their story kicks off... right now the focus is shivaay and anika and the 3 brothers.. once that is done im sure they will move onto Ishaana and Omkara and then rudra and soumya.
Just give the makers some time to settle.
I for one enjoy Gul Khan's shows they are modern and entertaining with some humour and drama. Her actresses are not typical tv serial actresses that keep crying.. they dont wear heavy duty clothes and jewelry.. they dress like regular people... western clothes isnt reserved for negative characters. I like that the women are fearless and can stand up for themselves. They dont exhibit weakness.
I like al that. I like that they speak like young people the language is coloquial with a mix of hindi and english like most people in India speak.
The characters are not all black and white.. they all have their demons which I like.. it makes them more human.
I like that its the younger generation who tries to bind the family together rather than break it apart. I like that they hold more values and integrity than their parents.. its all so different from the usual dramas. I like that its a male dominated show and that the men are not just puppets in the womens hands. They have their own mind and arent afraid to express it.
