I have written things mostly in neutral POV and yesterday in Aradhya's POV. Today, I am writing from Aryan's perspective. Thus this post will only concentrate on this area and nothing else. I have written the post to allow myself and hopefully other members to continue to connect with Aryan. Please bear with me since I haven't written anything from a male character's viewpoint other than RKB in YHM. Raman Bhalla presently is only character I have liked and can connect with in indian serials esp when YHM was on its previous 11pm slot. KP is superb as RKB. I have grown to like Aryan's character and do apologise in advance if I couldn't do justice to Aryan's character.
Now getting on with it...
Lately, Aryan had been through a lot with finding out about his new identity and adjusting with his new family but was short lived since his biological mother had died. However the two people that Aryan is loved the most which is now hidden with his hatred are his wife Aradhya, and his grandfather Pradyumma Rao. In KD season 1 before knowing about the truth he had loved these people and after knowing the truth, he still love them. These people are reserved and blessed with his true love toward them, however in this track, in his mind, they have let him down.
Aryan couldn't believe how PVR had coldly turned him away after years of giving affection love. He refused to believe it and thus was imploring PVR that he is still his grandson that the whole nature and nuture thing didn't matter. Unfortunately PVR didn't understand that and had attempted to shoot aryan twice. When PVR came to realise what he about to do and had a reality check in court scenes and onwards even according to Toi spoilers, but by then Aryan was in a grief process. He felt responsible for Tulsi's death as the person had intended to shoot him. Albeit we know PvR didn't shoot tulsi and its was Jairaj but Aryan wasn't to know that. Jairaj didn't come to his mind as he didn't see him and thought he had terrorised Raj away from his village. Aryan hated PVR, and hated that he had even came to the factory falling for PvR's trick - right now he is probably thinking he wish he never came in the first place so Tulsi's death could be prevented. He wasn't to know that even if he didn't come to the factory, Deshs bro and sis would have found a way to shoot him and tulsi as his mother was bound to do anything for her children and even if that mean her life would be taken away.
Aryan is confused and hurting over his mother's death and more importantly whether it is acknowledged or not he feel responsible for his mother's death and feel helpless, the only person he want now in the world to comfort him is his wife Aaru. He didn't want to see Aaru as someone's daughter or granddaughter or being a mahaan. He wanted his wife, he wanted her to tell him that eveything was going okay and to comfort him in his grief. But he couldn't say that to her so instead choose to lash out on her. He is grieving and couldn't understand himself how and why he is feeling and acting that way. That was noticeable in two particular scenes one before the court scene and AaRa were outside the court, aryan very passionately scolded his wife to choose which side she will be on to support - Aryan Yashwant Chimaji or Pradyumma Vididayar Rao which Aaru replied she will be on the truth side. Aryan then frustratingly shake and move his head away. That was an evidence of his need for her to be with him. Second scene was when he met Aaru but thought she was a stranger and find out she too had loved his mother which he then go on to say that there is someone who his aayi had raised for 22 years and didn't even bother to show her presence - she was blinded by wealth. Aaru cried that moment mourning for her loss too. He think for Aaru wealth matter the most that why she wasn't here but more importantly even when he denied Aaru her rights in Tulsi's funeral. He still expect her to be here when he was about to scatter the ashes...to support him and show her love and respect to their mother. He was disappointed that she wasnt there and spoke bitterly. He didn't understand why she didn't show up since he knew his patni was very stubborn woman and never listen to anyone thus not even his harsh actions at the funeral should have any effect on her. This wasn't the Aaru he knew and loved. It's wasn't his Aaru. So he think it's was wealth that change her. He was so lost in his thoughts and grief that he didn't recognise her voice, words and didn't recognise her touch. He was thinking about her but couldn't see that she was with him and is too sharing his pain. He got a divorce from her and made her and her family homeless or penniless. He wanted to see that even after her family are poor will she still support them or change side. He had intentionally became a wealthy Malik not just to make PvR suffer but want to see whether she will remain by his side now given that he had wealth which he think she is after at. He want Aaru back with him and remain by his side at any cost. She is his life and even more now that he lost his mother. He want the old Aaru back, but will never admit that. I doubt whether he even realise why he is behaving that way. He love Aaru so much and is unable to separate himself from her. She had the other half of his heart. Without her by his side and thinking not only he had lost his mother, he had also lost his wife. Thus he is uncapable of thinking logically. He will be disappointed and angry tonight when she choose to still support and live with her family, but secretly relieved with the fact that his old Aaru is still there and that wealth didn't matter to her as much as he thought. He will be frustrated too with Aaru still not being by his side. Aryan is a very possessive man and in the past he never had to share his wife with anyone. Her only man was her husband and now she also had two other important men to consider along with her husband. These two other men are her father and grandfather. Aryan does understand this but didn't like it.
Aaru is too consumed with her own grief not having the chance to talk and make peace with her mother. She had lost her aayi who been there for her since birth...she didn't know how to live with that and how to cope..thus keep herself busy by supporting her biological family. She couldn't support Aryan as his wife since she too had lost a mother and had a different way to deal with her grief. She too was lost in her own grief and is unable to see her husband's agony and frustrations with her for simply not being with him.
I absolutely love AaRa and is enjoying the current track where they will re-identify and try to connect with one another again. One thing for sure they are unable to stay away from each other. I must applause to both Shravan and Sana for acting superbly as AaRa making the audience fall in love with this Jodi again. 😳
Apologies in advance for any silly typos errors
