I think this coinciding wth shahid is pure chance.

In reality, Kareena had stopped signing films a long time ago. If you recall after Udta punjab last year she didn't sign anything. I think they had been trying since then. And remember she was spotted at a gyn office earlier this year, perhaps she might have even needed a little help, who knows?
