It's none other than the Dancing Queen herself, Madhuri Dixit!

YAY... thanks for posting Rashmi! 🤗

Questions for Discussion:

* Have you seen the promos for this film or the film itself?

- Yes... I saw the movie on Saturday! I just LOVED it! 😳

* Have you heard the songs from the album?

-Yes, all of them!

* Which is your favorite? Least favorite?

-Well, this is really hard... I love all the songs especially after seeing how they were used in the movie! My top favorites are Aaja Nachle, Ishq Hua, Is Pal and O Re Piya (not necessarily in this order)! And... I can't really say that I have a least favorite, I guess whatever is left!

* How would you rate this album overall with 1 as the lowest and 10 as the highest?

-I'd definitely give it at least an 8 or 8.5!

* What is your opinion of the music directors Salim and Sulaiman Merchant? Compared to their other works, where does Aaja Nachle stand?

-Well, I can't say that they're one of my top favorites but I have definitely appreciated most of their work... they're usually in on the backgroud score so when we get to hear their compositions as part of the movie's soundtrack, it's always nice!

* Any other comments on the music of Aaja Nachle or the film itself may also be posted here.

-Well, like I said, I simply loved this movie... everything was perfect, the actors, the choreography, the songs, just everything! My favorite part was the show towards the end of the movie, I was awed by the way it was written! 😳

Have you seen the promos for this film or the film itself?

I saw this film, first day first show; i have to say overall it is a good film. i left the theater happier than i have been in a while... it is a feel good movie, which sticks with you, and reminded me what going to the movies can be about... 👏

Have you heard the songs from the album?

I heard the songs the day they were released, it was one of the first things I did that morning... go and but the album... 😃 After watching the film though I was disappointed that all the songs were not on the soundtrack.

Which is your favorite? Least favorite?

My favorite would have to be O Re Piya, but i am partial to that style of music; also i love that the song is tragic and hopeful at the same time. My least favorite is Dance With Me, I have heard music like this numerous times and every time I feel let down... I felt it had little or nothing to offer the soundtrack.
How would you rate this album overall with 1 as the lowest and 10 as the highest?
In retrospect I would have to rate the album a 7, because it does not have the full soundtrack from the film... and although I love all the music (except Dance With Me), it did take me a little while to let some songs grow on me. 😳

What is your opinion of the music directors Salim and Sulaiman Merchant? Compared to their other works, where does Aaja Nachle stand?

I have high expectations of their work; however I also realize that making music for a film whose premise rests much on music and period I would say that I was only satisfied. As it stands in comparison to their other works I would have to say, that they stared of very strong and that their talent has grown... although some misses have come, I think that they deliver well and this soundtrack, as well, will go down as one of the best. 😃

Any other comments on the music of Aaja Nachle or the film itself may also be posted here.

I am very disappointed in the fact that some of the songs are not available... I know that over the years it has been difficult, if not impossible, to get copies of background score, however to not have songs available, is another story. 😡
Other than those I would just like to point out except some marketing issues, that yash raj seems to be having, this is one of the first yash raj films this year (expect of course chak de) that seems to actually have gotten a decent enough review from indian "critics," and in my opinion can actually be considered a success. 👏
