Proud dad Mahesh Bhatt is all praise for Alia Bhatt's 'gut-wrenching' performance in Udta Punjab.

We have seen fathers of male starkids thumping their chests..🤔undeserving mostly..

I understand how Mahesh feels right now.Also the role is brutal..it must have hurt watching..

Alia (and Shahid) deserve all the praise.You can see their commitment to the film and role(s).

Why the double standards? Whats wrong if father of a male starkid praises his son? Father is a father afterall..

I felt since the trailer that Alia will steal the movie & It looks like she has!! She's the finest young actress so this was expected. I love the risks she is taking because it is indicative of not only her confidence in her talent but her seriousness in achieving heights in BW. Can't wait to watch UP now. 😃

MEB - I am off Alia after K&S. She was sooo annoying in that movie.

Nothing wrong in Mr Bhatt praising Alia. He must be a proud father. We are used to Big B RTing every tweet that Abhi is praised. I unfollow BigB when Abhi's movies release😆

In k&s her plot was unnecessary.. not needed but still she is the one who brought people to theaters Fawad too.. Fawad stole the show fr me in that movie.
