Nothing wrong in Mr Bhatt praising Alia. He must be a proud father. We are used to Big B RTing every tweet that Abhi is praised. I unfollow BigB when Abhi's movies release😆

She didn't act as well as she does, but I didn't find her annoying or over-rated at all. Over-rated are Anushka & Parineeti esp Anushka who is strictly average-above average but hear people talk here & you would think she is Shabana Azmi.


Alia actually is a really good actress who takes risks & out of the box subjects (for BW) , so people have legit reasons to get annoyed by her constant over-promotion by all the starry insiders, (but that also I don't understand b/c it's not like we are actresses competing with her lol) but to deny her talent when she proves it in these obvious & undeniable ways is to me, well, stupid. She is no Meryl Streep & the comparison is ridiculous & beyond any such words; but she is very good & will soon succeed to a little powerhouse of talent & that's what we mainly pay exorbitant ticket prices for- Acting & storylines, not exquisite jewellery or finely-crafted faces or clothes.



But I do concede that once you don't like a certain actor & feel you've legitimate reasons to even if you don't feel you do, you just dislike them & that's fine enough.
