I am not a hindu so I don't know anything about hindu marriage certificates.

in a Cristian marriage the couple do a civil registration of a marriage, this is more like a licence which states that a couple are adults and consent to the marriage, after the church nuptials a marriage certificate is produced by the church stating that the couple is married ritually, this certificate is submitted to the civil registration office and the marriage is officially registered.

what i'd like to know is how and when is a marriage registered. how come tv serials come up with bride or groom exchange's at last moments. isn't the names and the bride and groom noted before hand. or don't they signe any register or document of marriage before or after the rituals.?

so if there is such a procedure, in whose name is in the marriage certificate when yug and kali got married. or did gauri sign the register in place of kali when dadi took kali to the temple. so how come garui does not have a marriage certificate

gauri conveniently produce a certificate of kali's marriage to Aryan, which never happened so it is obvious that she doctored kali and yug original certificate which is took form kali's room. when kali has a marriage certificate which proves that she is yugs legal wife. why has he problem believing he is married to kali.

i'm asking this because if there is a marriage certificate with kali and yug name on it then the two of them signed some document together before or after the rituals.

dadi says the in the eyes of society gauri is yug wife, simply on the basis that she claimed to have set in the mandap in kali's place. nobody in the crowd saw the brides face, with the exception of dadi, mads, caichi who are lying that they didn't see the brides face.

but what about legally, who is yug's wife. and shouldn't such a document be proof enough at to who is his legally married wife.?

is bride and groom switching so easy in a hindu marriage? or does it only happen in tv serials as a gross missrepresentation of a Hindu marriage. because it is impossible for it to ever happen in a Christian wedding.

plez if anybody knows about this stuff please share the information.

Im Muslim and the same happens in Muslim weddings too
As in the whole court thing.

I too honestly had the same doubt but I think this is just something that happens in serials
Thats why people too get pissed off with the way marriage is shown in these dramas

Marriage registration is not compulsory i think. But only for legal requirements registration is done. Its not like marriage is not legal if not registered. Registration can be done after marriage also showing proof of marriage like wedding cards and also some kind of record is maintained if the marriage happens in temple. Maybe some witness is asked i'm not aware.

Here kali doesn't have any marriage certificate. She just showed a doctored certificate just like gauri to show that gauri produced a photoshopped certificate. If registration was done during marriage, it would be gauri and yug's actually as she was shown as bride to the world (dadi would have ensured that) which doesn't seem to have happened.

Producing fake certificates in countries like India is very easy. Earlier one miss India contestant was disqualified as she used a fake marriage certificate to get house on rent when she was really unmarried(many ppl refuse to give house on rent to single women).

But does the marriage get nullified if the groom has no idea who's actually sitting beside him? Or vice versa?

I hope i dont sound offensive because religion discussions scare me
Im just curious.

Sometimes Mere Dimag mein Dahi/Kulfi/Faluda...😕😆..
Okay..Here I now approve KALI is YUG's Wife..KALI is Only and only YUG's Wife..

Just one thing needed..Marriage rituals of KALI and YUG need to re-performed in actuality so that elders and the society approves it..Please dont mind..😊❤️

As per law, it is required to register marriage. Its legal document. Unless it is there there are other things which cant be gained legally. but its not compulsion. and as per hindu traditiond rituals are more important. husband and wife name can register marriage certificate even after 10 yrs of marriage. So no such issues. One thing i m quiet surprised in tv world how there could be marriage certificate of two people without them signing it... but i know its not impossible in india. In many small towns, it can be easily twicked giving bribes. I m living in mumbai so rules are pretty strict here. In small town or villages its nt the case..
But right now if u see, its kali again legally wedded wife of Yug. she has marriage certificate😆

Anything can happen in India.. there are many false documents which are made using tricks like pan card, debit or credit card.. whats big deal in making false marriage certificate... but thats what i m saying in small towns its still feasible... In metro pretty difficult..

I am not sure about what u are talking about..at least not in my knowledge..I have not heard such things..at least in my city in India..which is (district) area wise nearly equal to Delhi and much bigger than Mumbai..(please google to find the area in square kilometer)..

I have no idea about such things..:)

I think the ghunghat system needs to be banned completely. 😆
If the guy knows two girls love him, let there be no ghunghat so he knows who is in mandap with him.

I mean I am muslim and in nikaah the priest reads out the name of the bride and groom which is registered in nikaahnama too. So no chance of swap happening.

Also if marriage is not done with consent it can be nullified because from my knowledge of Hindu religion two wives is not allowed isn't it? And here both girls are staying in same house claiming they've married Yug. It can get the guy in trouble for keeping two wives.
