But I'm sure we never imagined her to be so DISTRAUGHT at the possibility that Ruhi might be alive This was a new low. Despicable, that she preferred her own daughter dead so that, that remains the cause of a permanent rift between Raman and Ishita forever.
Wow.
She was lamenting the fact that Ruhi is that bridge between Raman and Ishita, something she can never cross, never tackle. She becomes an outsider as soon as Ruhi comes into the picture, because even Ruhi chooses her Ishima over her own real mother. I ask - why not? What have you done that merits any real love and loyalty for you in her heart? You have always used her and Adi as pawns in your own brand of chess, which is why even Adi doesn't really think of you and see you as his mother.
You said you're trying? You're trying? Like how? Again making Pihu the next pawn in your game? Wonderful attempt👏
Sorry Shagun, but karma is a bitch. Just because you are 'trying' now, doesn't mean karma doesn't remember all your past fu**ups And since it does, it will pay you back in the exact same coin - it will make sure none of your kids recognize and love you as their mother. It will make sure they dont even think of you as their last resort.
Shagun is scared now that now that Ishita is here, even Pihu may slip from her hands...yes, uski zindagi mein har cheez use haath mein chahiye toh Pihu haath se nikal jayegi...and then Raman, Ishita, Pihu and Ruhi will cut this happy family picture ...
and she will be left on the sidelines again, adhuri, or "incomplete" as she called herself today.
Why crack such jokes? I dont have grand notions about what 'completes' a woman, but lady, you are such a messed-up creature with those messed up thoughts that you dont have qualities necessary to be even called a decent human being.
So, this is what I have to say - Mihir is aghast that he can see hints of the "purani Shagun" in you, but I say, the purani Shagun had never left. She was always there, lurking, dormant...and now that plausible reasons have opened up before her eyes, she feels this is the right time to come out with the claws she has been sharpening all these years.
You left Manoj (that excuse for a doctor who actually helped you become a surrogate mother) and left behind a secure life replete with love, that, even by your standards would have completed you. You only always thought about herself, and I guess it will forever be the same. You think human beings around you exist so you can use them as opportunities to climb the next ladder in your life. You abandoned Raman years ago, to be a consort to a filthy rich man and are now devastated that he dumped you at the altar.
So its but natural that you should land in the muck. Tum kisi ki nai ho saki, tumhara kaun hoga.
Karma is a bitch, sweetheart, it doesn't spare anyone.😲
I enjoyed how Raman growled at Nidhi, threatening her to tell the truth. Loved it when he almost attacked her, and I should not say this coz then again it becomes a feminist issue and all that, but he should have just whacked her left, right and centre. If he couldn't do it, atleast Ishita could've. But khair, that isn't in Ishita's nature.
It was interesting to see how Nidhi got caught only because of that 'Om' locket, and those multiple baba-bholenath type rings on all her fingers. Such a bimbo. She should throw away all her degrees. She donned a burkha, posing as a Muslim woman and was brandishing her 'Om' locket.
It was hilarious to see her standing seductively with her eyes shut, when Raman pried the burkha off her face, as if he was bharoing her maang. And when the police took her away, she kept staring at Raman like her latent desires got ignited again😆😆
Ruhi is in love with Nidhi. Even if she comes back to Bhalla House, she sure is going to try and get Nidhi out. So my love for her is outta the window. Maybe she enjoyed the whipping or thinks she'll miss Nidhi's extra-tight pony and her smoky-eyed makeup. Whatever be the reason, she;ll get Nidhi out.
Apparently, Nidhi too is going to come and firmly place her ass in Bhalla House, and claim custody over Ruhi.
Ruhi will either support her or Shagun, and surprise us all, in her quest to make IshRa life hell.
Tomorrow we have the 'reconciliation' scene which I watched in the olv and it did nothing for me. It wont do anything for me tomorrow either. The whole 'coming together' of Raman and Ishita is for a 'higher purpose' i.e treat and care for a mentally retarded Stockholm Syndrome-affected Ruhi. Not because they genuinely sorted out their issues. Raman has Ruhi now, so Ishita will automatically become the best wife and mother in the world. Because Raman has decided to hug her and say a few 'sorry's' and isn't verbally abusing her now, Ishita will start building castles in the air soon.
In the precap, Shagun came and looked on at the pair, almost like she caught her husband cheating on her. Oh well, Raman almost became her husband again
Raman is so popular its unbelievable...in the space of one or two hours, he went from an almost-married man to now-single again bachelor humming new Mohabbatein with his estranged wife at the airport (or should I call her ex-wife?😕) and then when Nidhi comes out on bail (since no criminal in YHM ever stays in prison for more than a night) he will have Nidhi vying for his affection as well.
So there will be a rehash of everything YMM 1.0 showed, which we watched wholeheartedly because it looked genuine and was the first time around. But this time it will repeat YHM 1.0 will bring in more chaos, more meanness, more scheming, more plotting, more accusations, more character assassinations, more sacrifices, more crying, more of everything by keeping the leads and their personalities exactly as they are, right down to the last bit.
Karmic connections between the leads, and the leads and the same villains/vamps will be explored in the exact same way. And since those issues will never truly be resolved in the real sense, they will crop up 200 more times. More serious issues will be mocked at and criminals will get richer by the day.
Ashok is done using Nidhi, so he and Shagun may become a team again and wage 'wars' against IshRa.
And Shagun is the central, irreplaceable part of the story for whom any character can be made a villain overnight (Raman) and some other character weak, unsure, perpetually sacrificial and helpless (Ishita). The whole story anyway, has been tweaked to gigantic proportions to fit her. So any character can become unrecognizable and hate-worthy to justify her presence in the show.
I have no interest in watching any of this.
I have no interest whatsoever in watching how many people in how many ways will vie for Raman's attention and custody over his kids. And I have no interest in watching in how many ways and through how many claimants (of custody) the CVs would try to show us how they've adapted the novel 'Custody' in YHM, the show. Seriously. Just cant.
The only thing that made me laugh today- was the way Ishita jiggled Ruhi's wig as they were examining all the contents in Nidhi's bag😆😆 it looked funny...when Ishita said, "yeh Ruhaan ke baal jaise nai lag rahe?" as she jiggy-wiggyd the wig😆
and the next funny thing was when Nidhi confidently gave the phone to the police official, expecting Ashok would save her ass in liue of the 'one night stand' she had with him the other day😉😆, but he bluntly told the police, "aapko iske saath jo karna hai kijiye..." and completely backstabbed her.😆 After all, he is a respectable MP and he cannot get muddled in all this bhagodi criminal business😆
Aalu will finally be of some use tomorrow, instead of just raita failaoing
Romi, after ages, stood by Raman just like a brother does...felt nice watching him
Did I hear Shagun say, ki Raman ne use bulaya tha, Pihu ka khayaal rakhne ke liye??
I could be wrong, but that's what I heard ...and if that is the case, then Mr. Raman Bhalla, if you found yourself so incapable of bringing Pihu up without bringing your ex-wife to do the same, you're also getting what you deserve right now.
So anyway guys, my patience has run up...it's up to the brim now. I am taking a break and wont be reviewing YHM from now on. I dont know how long this will continue, maybe when I realize there has been some actual progression between Raman and Ishita as characters and their mutual equation (which as of now, I find insincere, fabricated, and very very shaky), I may start reviewing it again. I see even the villains are coming up with new shades...only the leads dont.
And it's just that my threshold for nonsense and irrationality has reached its peak. I prolly cannot even enjoy their lollipop scenes together now, because at the back of my mind a feeble voice will keep nagging me that this is TRP game, and nothing of what is being aired is backed by solid reasons. And of course, how the kids are the driving force of the relationship b/w this couple and they, as individuals, with their own personalities and strengths and weaknesses aren't enuff to pull it through without falling over the place. It's less about them as human beings first, and more about what roles they are supposed to fulfill (especially Ishita).
I am sure my thoughts about IshRa equation will offend some people, but that's just how I view it. I dont intend to hurt anybody's feelings who still find IshRa a solid couple with a solid foundation. Everybody has a POV. This is mine.
P.S. I will sorely miss the discussions, chit-chat, laughter, guttural jokes and whatnot...I have made so many friends here. Met so many people, read and discussed so many perspectives. I will miss you all🤗
P.S. I'll keep updating my OSes and FF though. 😛 So anybody following either/both can look out for updates.
