Lastly anu resolved to make shakti fall for her and for that what she is gonna do is gonna further complicate the things. Now garv ananya scene. Definitely it started from fake sweetness from both sides but it ended with their real emotions (from garv's side also). After anu's last dialogue that they have spoiled their lives also for this revenge his concern and confusion was very much real although it was not for ananya. Who would like the idea of sharing a wife specially the person who has shared his mom with the people he is supposed not to like much (shakti)

Hey I can't make the line bold but your last few lines I agree with u whole heartedly ..I myself commented a post on this !

But wow. What an episode!!
Where to begin? Well yes the Amar/Samar scene was understatedly funny and kind of incestuous 😆 The way she burst into their room unannounced was sort of a reversal of what they did to her. Samar covering himself in shame was cute, what did he need to be embarassed about? That he was sleeping shirtless with his brother😆
Regarding Adharsh,he might be the 'damsel in distress' here if we consider the kind of relentless texts hes been getting such that maybe Ananya might 'rescue' him from this, judging by the texts, narcisstic and needy woman? She might be able to win him this way? Who knows.

Moving on to Garv..ok deep breaths.
So aside from the shirtless thing, the scene itself I agree was defo intriguing.
What made Ananya say that Garv could be the hardest one to figure out?..what did she see in his expression that made her say it...hmm. I mean not that I cant understand why she would say that because he seems to flit from one emotion to another in seconds, which makes him hard to pin down..He certainly looked sympathetic, almost too much so to occasion some suspicion from her. As for Garv himself, he is either a very good actor or has quickly reverted to pity for his wife. I would buy into the former because were it not for the scene yesterday between him and MT we would have thought that he has suddenly changed tune, which seems rather inconsistent and out of keeping with his character. I do hope they dont rush this even if the eventual outcome is for him to fall for her, because before that happens she would need to encounter a lot more challenges, they need to keep the integrity of the characters by keeping them close as possible to what makes them 'unique' in the sense that they have all the raw, gritty masculinity that such gunda-ish roles evoke. And again the inconsistency. It makes no sense for him to change out of the blue, when as you have rightly said there has been hardly any interactions to warrant any deep concern from his half- rather it should be Shakti who would do this.

Speaking of the devil..Shakti's scenes with Ananya today interested me the most, his need to keep watch on Ananya will translate into what Ananya has planned for him ie inciting jealousy, which she will do by getting closer to Garv. Shakti is going to be shattered by her carefully planned moves. He has outlets for his pent up anger, and he is showing signs of remorse through that although he continues to berate her for putting on an act. He cant seem to confront his own feelings for her.
Indeed this episode was so entertaining because we got to see Ananya interact with all her 5 husbands thus setting the tone for their future interactions.

@ bold: its a great point about Adarsh's girl, she does indeed seem clingy & must say Adarsh hs been impressive to be able to hide it. Right now it seems like Adarsh indeed loves her because there is no other reason to tolerate her but all hell is going to break loose when all the secrets come tumbling out. The girl will add some real complexities to the Thakur HH.

@red : With Garv, I do think his initial friendliness to Ananya was an act, a plan concocted by MaaT . I think somewhere in between both of their acts-Ananya & Garv, a small modulation of honesty passed through them. I could be wrong but I seemed to read something in that scene or as luvankit mentioned , it could be that her words kind of reminded him how he didn't really like sharing his mother during childhood. I do think he can feel empathetic to her without acting on it.

@green :Shakti's problem is that he feels guilt & also he needs to be rude to Ananya to compensate for feeling that guilt. But Ananya ignoring him, makes him seek her out more & this is going to be his undoing.

Ananya has really set her plans in motion but I don't think its going to go as smooth as she envisioned.

On another note, her speaking her mind to Garv really moved me, the zinda laash dialogue was pretty impactful.

This episode was impactful because it humanised the Thakur boys, we see them from a different lens, from a more domestic setting, rather than the menacing setting. It is interesting that how away from MaaT , they seem more like individuals, she has completely emasculated their individuality.

Hi Cats, im going to use your lovely colour format;
@red bold It didnt occur to me that Garv could have been empathising only because he has trouble sharing that motherly love among his brothers; it speaks to his jealousy/greed but at the same time Bindiya is his actual mother so you can kind of see where he is coming from, especially as a young child(well noted Shikha?) it certainly would be typical of him to feel those feelings of possessiveness re-emerge in light of the new situation.
@green bold, great observation, post-marriage he has been trying to micro-manage Ananya's situation, and why should he not? He's hiding his real affections behind a tough exterior but still manages to betray some of that via his need to rationalize himself to Ananya. His mental state must be unimaginably chaotic at this point.
@pink agreed, it sounds great in her head but when it comes to executing the plan shes bound to face challenges from the Thakur brothers as much as the mother. They arent about to change their tune overnight.
@blue it was interesting to witness unseen aspects of their more like you said domesticated side; about the emasculation part, its funny that, because on the one hand MT advocates for their male dominance over their wife yet she is the one whom they bend their knees to, if that just switches to Ananya they wont become any less emasculated. Which is why I kind of want to see their characters not just from one dimension, rather a totality of both their gentle/caring aspects and darker/shadier aspects.
