i JUST caught up on some recent episodes. And oh my god, 30th may episode was both so funny and tragic. Funny coz of that riya searching for music learning steps on internet and tragic also coz how desperate she had become to win their approval. It sickened me to see Shivam act like so cold and so cruel towards Riya. And I just want to slap Preeti, the way she was blaming Riya and when shivam comes, she taunts riya that ''see here comes ur husband to take your side''. It was so cheap and so low of Preeti, I mean she is the reason coz of which shivya broke up, and she has the guts to stand there and accuse her brother of siding with his wife, I was like can't this idiot see how crude and mean is shivam towards Riya.
And the way Shivam asks Riya how are you going to manage yourself without money and threw away her resignation letter and asked her to get out, it was all so cheap so lowly so disgusting of him. Mr. SHivam had no qualms of taking away his biwi's hardearned money to give to his daadi and use it for the expenses of his good for nothing family, but has the guts to stand there and make such caustic remarks at his own wife.
The way everyone at SS, are treating Riya like she murdered one of their members. Her fault is the least yet she is getting the majority of hate,oh wait , not just majority but actually all of it. I am sick and tired of this show for real now. I hate shivam so much like actually hate him.
And yesterday's episode was even more disgusting. He was attacking Riya's friend Bunty and accusing him of being the reason why his marriage is broken. I am like, hello Bunty is the reason, Riya is still sane and has not succumbed to depression. You should be thankful that his wife has such a good supportive friend.. He is not even a good friend to his wife, forget being a husband. HE HAS NEVER BEEN SUPPORTIVE OF RIYA, ALWAYS HAS CHOSEN HIS FAMILY OVER her and always blamed her for other's actions. Any wife would jump off the cliff with a husband like this, out of frustration.
I am genuinely baffled as why the writers are promoting such a negative character as the lead male protagonist of the show. Even the most maa ka laadla obedient son knows where to draw the line and not be so crude to someone. Shivam doesn't even treat RIYA like a fellow human.
Riya is always taking care of SHivam and his family. But what about Shivam's duty as a husband??? Is wife a commodity, that can be thrown out anytime the inlaws n husband thinks that this ''commodity'' is of no use anymore or is defective. Is that what this show and show writers promoting???? Its degrading for me as a woman to even watch this show. I am personally offended with such a regressive show. Star PLUS brags about nayi soch. What Nayi Soch is this??? That a wife has no security inside her own house and the male protagonist of the show is justified to degrade humiliate demean her,coz he is supposed to be the ''cultured obedient loyal'' son and brother.
And no I no longer buy this excuse that ''poor shivam is being manipulated by his daadi and mommy''. Irrespective of how manipulated you are, you don't treat a fellow human with such humiliation. He doesn't even show humanity towards his own wife.
He claims to love his wife. But how come he feels no regret no pain no remorse seeing his wife sleeping on the floor in the aangan. How come he feels no pain seeing her cry and be miserable. Is he that heartless???
I don't get it as to how the f@ck are the writers gonna justify Shivam's behaviour and prove his claim of love for RIya. He sleeps with great comfort in his bed, eats his food happily, leads a normal life .And only time he shows some not so happy expressions, is when he sees his wife existing.
Coolbeans I think we should send these messages to Karam or Ekta or StarPlus or the makers of the show in Instagram in their comment section. Hopefully they will read it and understand what the viewers actually want. Because its saddening to see such a good cast waste away in this show. They have got such a great cast yet hired such idiotic writers.
Trust me , MAM writers are gonna be the reason why this show will drown.
