lol ... What nonsense! He doesn't have to sing for Indian audience all the bloody time in order to show his presence.

Anyway, he hasn't disappeared. According to Aadeez, he is working on his album which is to be released at the end of this year ... Singing for Pakistani projects ... Where BW projects are concerned ... He is singing for Rustom & Dishoom. What else you want? It's not like he will give a hit song and BW will hand him an Award. lol

Besides, why someone'd want to be present... be in people's face ... where they aren't appreciated? lol!

;p; dude am from pakistan and here industry ka bura haal hai ab in present state albums dont work either now bechare jo bollywood chale gaye unka acha kaam chala jo yahan re gaye woh part time singer rehgaye this all started when these guys took bollywood projects and forgot their own pop culture ali azmat stated ke ab singers ka yeh haal hai ke dukaan laga lein...its strange for me to say but its realit now bollywood is only bread and butter for our bechare singers ...atif was one lucky guy went to bollywood many really good talent wasted all these years one is ahmed jahanzeb class singer his first album was rage in pakistan ,and ya sajad ali too dont have equal amount of fame which shafqat amant ali has inspite sajad ali is far far better then shafqat in term of singing

Doesn't matter where you are from. Being from a certain place don't make a point.

Albums in general don't work these days. It's same everywhere. New era. Even in HW. It's all about singles, but since we don't have that kind of hard core system over there ... what meant is ... impossible not to enjoy Atif's music in general.

I don't get what you are trying to say ... Has he disappeared? No, he hasn't. I see him still doing projects. Has he become less famous? That's all about perspective. I still see people getting excited with his concerts ... and performances at coke studio/shows ... they are always talked about. Maybe you have experienced something else.

Trend singers come and go. No, he isn't part of that any more, I agree. But then again he doesn't need to be, he is his own name and not forgotten. I'm glad he ain't in your face ... Trends get tiring. That's why there's always someone new at the next corner.
