The current storyline is lacking in terms of connectivity.Last few weeks had been very interesting with the Isha-Sahir interview and the Gia-Azhar controversy, not only because the track was interesting and well executed but also because it didn't seem forced. There was a smooth flow with one thing leading to another but off late some things are very unrelatable.
Gia -Azhar relationship
I personally love the couple cuz both Barkha and Yuvraj play their parts well but this sudden proposal is too off for me. I mean Azhar wasn't even on talking terms with Gia two days earlier, he also confessed to Nadia about being upset with Gia for the fake story and suddenly ,out of nowhere the proposal scene came up. I don't think its a bad idea to bring Azhar and Gia together ,but this sudden increase in pace just takes away their love story's charm. The proposal scene was sweet ,but it really felt out of place. No monologues given ,not a single scene where Azhar did actually understand Gia's point of view or her helplessness ,neither any scene where Gia felt apologetic for blaming Azhar for the mishap. Instead of a proposal,probably both of them sorting out their issues or even a completely opposite track where they are falling apart ,could have been more interesting and relatable.
Sahir and Azhar's friendship
Until today's episode these guys have just been shown having merely a one or two word conversation . They never went beyond a 'Hello ' or "how are you doing " and all those kind of formal talks. But in the today's episode they were bonding like long time friends. Who shares/makes plan of proposing a girl with someone whom you barely know.? Even if we consider it just as Sahir's help to Azhar,both guys bonding on such a personal level ,hugging and dancing around was a little too much.( Shantanu was smiling a lot today and its been such a while I saw him like that! Did distract me for a while :P)
I really thought that the proposal scene would have been with just Gia and Azhar,but well if IshIr were present, I think even Revati should have been there to be a part of the moment.
Sahir is supposed to be a musician but all he does is thinks about Isha. His character as a musician is never brought to light. They may show him dancing out of the blue,but no scenes where his passion for music can be seen. Zero connectivity there when it comes to Sahir ,the singer...All I can see of him is Sahir ,who is Isha's ex.
Rev and Guru's relation is going no where. The same tracks are being repeated where they are having a good time once,then Revati insults Guru , on realizing it ,very casually apologizes to him and they are back to square one. Some of the moments they shared were really cute but I feel their story needs to acquire some pace with a proper buildup so that they are more connectible.
