and i was like bhai i live in a country away from my entire family ppl are already talking 🤣

then he said some more stupid stuff and i told him to get off his high horse and to stop being such a patriarchal pig girls are not made just to get married and i know he didn't mean it like that but it was coming off that way and just pissed me off

My mums given up on the rishta bandwagon, she's adopted this new "when the right guy comes along" approach and I'm sat there like YESSS THANK YOU ALLAH 😆

it depends loll tbh it does depend. in the beginning i thought it was cute esp before he asked me out i thought it was cute that he would get jealous but at this point when we're so far along in our relationship i get offended if he gets jealous because i feel like that's him not trusting me enough. but i understand his point as well because i get annoyed when other girls flirt with him or come up to him too. i will say it's really cute when guys get jealous but annoying and irritating when they get angry jealous. so it's a yes and no 😆😆 i realize that's an annoying answer.

I think that's the problem with most desi families, they have problems when you're in long term relationships with no hopes of getting married in the near future. They all think it's the end of the world for you if the relationship doesn't work out.

My mom has given me an ultimatum that either I find a guy asap or she'll marry me off to whoever she likes. The last rishta that came over, i scared them by going on a feminist rant except that the father of the boy got very impressed.

I'm going to dodge the rishta ball like a pro though because I'm very blunt and i thrive off the negative energy of insulting people.
