Dhani's Growth & The Silver Lining

We have witnessed Dhani's character transform from a young widow to a young bride.
As a young widow, we got to see Dhani the kind, patient, sensible, sensitive, compassionate human being and also at times exhibit fiery, strong, self supportive qualities as well. We also watched her try fight off her captors, helped save a life, & at times spoke up for what's right. All this with the support of a young, intelligent, handsome guy, Viplav who stood by her, held her hand, guided her, made her fall in love & finally their marriage.

As much as I enjoyed watching Dhani's transformation & fell in love with this adorable couple, I very eagerly looked forward to more beautiful things happening post marriage with her character & the story, of course.

But alas, I have been totally disappointed. The Cvs have stunted Dhani's growth as a character.
Post marriage, on entering AN, all we have got to witness is Dhani being ridiculed, insulted, abused.
Instead of molding her into a stronger human being, she has been shown to be feeble, many a times stupid & just unrealistically patient tolerating heaps of abuses thrown at her. She has been shown to have lost her ability to even think for herself at times.
We recently got a ray of hope when the so called night school was introduced into the story line...
But again, that took a beating & with so much of family drama, can Dhani really focus on her education?? If this cannot happen, how can Dhani grow further & evolve into a well rounded person?

Forget TRPs, & other ratings... I personally feel if the story had focussed on this part of the story, it would have given the show a much needed boost.

Yes, the romance of the couple is something to look forward to, but that's not all...
In all this, the only silver lining is her husband, Viplav and his undivided love & support.
But for how long & will the evil ANwasis come together to erase this one silver lining she has?
I hope not!!!

If a story goes only with the notion of its main content... am sure it may get monotonous and at times preachy...
Its sometimes ok to divert into small nitty gritty of daily life and then bounce back to the main content.
Problem right now is that... we are witnessing too much of the nitty grittys... which is annoying ... and to be honest ... if a soul as dhaani has to fight so many evils... poor thing .. she was better off a widow .. leading a simple and content life.

Yea... marriage comes with its own problems... but dhaani and viplavv have only been facing trouble since their marriage. And now its been too long .. cvz need to cut the crap and bring some sanity. Pls... whatever love they have for kamini... let them bring a change in her heart .. and let her leave the awesome couplez life with some dignity left.

@Pearl & @ Nutty, thanks for your replies

Yes Pearl, I want the silver lining to remain forever too & it probably will.

Nutty, agree that without the nitty grittys & dramas, the story can seem monotonous & boring
Focussing too much on negativity without a parallel positive track tends to annoy the viewer.
That's what has happened.
Hope they wrap up current track & turn around the story or is this the beginning of the end??

well said mish...😊
yes dhaani is stron enough to fight the problems by her own...she nver refrained from saying the truth it doesnt matter for her whether anyone support her or not...that wat dhaani we had earlier...n ofcourse with the help of viplav der was a major transformation in her personality but after marriage..she is trapped between a gang of villans who hate her to the core...only hope for her is viplavs love...the main problem is she is such a selfless sole thats wat her mother nurtured in her...but its time dhaani shold know wats bad n wats good..n were n with whom to create the boundaries...n i think once again life is goin to be her teacher...do u remember the dance she did as godess durga form...n i think now AN wassi is goin to witness the goddess durga form of dhaani soon...now as such she knows all the truth..n pending is soon she should knw the real face of kams too...then the real fight is going to began...must say...AN wassiyo beware...!!!! n i hope very soon...!!!

Reva, thanks for ur comments.

Yes, I am also waiting for Dhani to reveal her inner strength, which she has been hiding for long now...
out of respect for the elders in AN.
Just so tired with this never ending bashing of her. It's high time she shows her Durga Avataar...Hah!

Awesome post!!!

Dhaani was super smart, vocal, brave when she was in the ashram.
But after marriage, she has changed.
Every woman changes after marriage, a woman is expected to change herself according to her inlaws in our society!!
Poor Dhaani, i pity her fr getting a sasural like AN!!
Wish Daadi supported her more, but Viplav wont leave anybdy after he gets to knw the reality of all ANwaasis. I trust Viplav!

Dhaani, has to move ahead now and she will!
Super excited to see whats in store fr us!!

Thanks Sillyme for ur comments.
The change after marriage should be on a difft. level.
Yes, pity Dhani for the kind of Sasural she landed in.
What a contrast from her ashram.
Her immense patience & kindness is being tested beyond limits.
Hope tables will turn around soon & all the evil doers pay a hefty price, both the legal way and emotionally as well.
To me, that would be Viplav losing his affection & trust towards them in a big way.
