Ishita is alive and Raman and Ishita are still married and not divorced ! How can Raman marry Shagun ?

This marriage is not legal ! How can people ignore such a basic thing ??!!

Even I thought the same but one of my friend told that the marriage will become automatically void if the partner is absent for 7 long years. Not sure if CVs went by this logic

this logic won't work here bcoz in other balaji show pavitra rista manav-anikita divorce case after 20 yr leap court ordered dem to live 6 mnth together nd same case parichay sidhi -kunal divorce case after 9 yr leap so dey won't go for dis logic in ishra case shraman wedding may be stopped by this point nd may be its adi who will take dis to court to stop sharman wedding

I don't know about those shows but in all those u mentioned was the partner absent/considered to be dead/unaware of his whereabouts for 7 years?

Even otherwise we can't compare with any shows as I don't think any indian show understand the meaning of logic 😊

Sure its illegal.

Ishita was not heard of being alive for 7 years, so it would have been a case for divorce only if the petition was filed. Raman never filed any petition for divorce stating his wife is missing for 7 long years. So IshRa are still married. If Raman had filed petition before he saw Ishita they would have been divorced.

And shows doesn't go for this legal illegal thing.

when raman decided to marry naagin did he waited for 7 years?...that time as per situation ishita's body was missing so they needed to wait for 7 years before she can be declared dead but no they almost got married...so why the 7 years clause is needed now?...May be the CVS are now trying to portray that to remarry your ex-wife divorce is not required since you already shared a husband wife relationship in the past.👏

She was absent for 7 years. And as per marraige law if your partner is away from you for morw than 7 years then the marraige is null and void.
Means they are not married now. Raman can marry shagun if he wants to.

This is not true. The marriage still needs to explicitly nullified and voided !
