Once Ved Vyasa came to Draupadi and told her that she will be the main cause for a great war that is going to happen in the future. Draupadi had not asked for it. So she asked vyasa to give a solution for this.
Then Vyasa told her three important things...
1. There will be a time wherein you wish to ask a question. Don't ask.
2. There will be a time wherein you wish to laugh. Don't laugh.
3. There will be a time wherein you wish to take a oath. Don't take it.
Draupadi agreed to all the three conditions of Vyasa without a single clue about the situations that Vyasa was reffering to.
But as per the providence she does all the three acts.
1. During her swayamvara, she asks Karna his race and rejects him by which he gets deeply offended.
2. The architectural wonders on the palace in Indraprasta amazed Duryodhana. He mistook a part of the glittering crystal floor for water and raised his dhoti and stepped gingerly. He was embarrased to know that is was just a floor. Next time when he saw another glitter he thought it was floor and walked on. It turned out to be a lake and he fell down immediately. Draupadi who happened to witness this burst into laughter. Duryodhana was greatly insulted.
3. In the game of dice, after Yudhistira lost Draupadi to Duryodhana, Dusshyasa drags her out of her antahpura by her locks. Most of us know what happened in the royal court. After the akshayambara she takes a strong oath saying that she would never tie her locks again unless it is tied with the blood of Dusshyasana. This is when Bhima makes his horrifying vows. He said " This crime will inexorably lead to war. I shall tear open the chest of Dhussyasana with my bear nails and drink his blood. I shall tie Draupadi's locks from his blood. I shall smash the thighs of Duryodhana with my mace. Arjuna will slay Karna and Sahadeva will slaughter Shakuni".
